>>>>>[ In all the confusion I forgot to add this to my collections.
This happened the same night that Shadowfox, Blitzkrieg, and Griffyn
decided to hide in a marsh.

You see two men standing in the shadows of the main doors of a dimly
light cathedral. One of the doors opens slightly and a man in a
business suit enters. The man on the left says, "You're late."

The business man shrugs, "Blame the bloody traffic."

The other man says, "Sure, that seems as good as anything else.
Let's get down to business."

The business shrugs and enters the main sanctuary. He sits down on a
pew. The other two sit on the pew in front of him. The first man,
War, is in his typical dress of a trench coat, jeans, combat boots,
and shades hiding the cybereyes. The other is dressed similarly
except that he has no obvious cyber on him.

The man in the business suit simply says, "Well?"

The man without cybereyes says, "We would like to assist you in your
next stage."

"Oh?"

He continues, "We think we know where to find your friend."

"Oh really, Death. I assume you got that information from Ratspeak.
Do you know if Sentinel will be there as well?"

The man without cybereyes, Death, responds, "Probably. It is
definitely a trap. He wants Blitzkrieg badly. Which is ironic
because Pestilence seems to think that Blitzkrieg no longer has the
information. He believes that Nightmare has wiped Blitzkrieg's
memory and hid the information somewhere only Nightmare knows."

The business man, Midnight, laughs, "It would figure. So what is
your goal in this?"

Death responds plainly, "To rescue Nightmare before he divulges
information that the world is better off having left buried."

Midnight innocently asks, "Not revenge?"

Death responds, "If I can get that along the way, my life would be
less stressful, but I think it is crucial that Nightmare is rescued
sooner than later."

Midnight says, "If we are walking into a trap, then wouldn't it be
prudent to make them wait."

Death says, "It's a crap shoot. Your hoping he isn't close to
cracking Nightmare."

Midnight says, "He would have to find a way to crack one of his
quickened spells without killing Nightmare."

Death comments, "I didn't know the BIS did that to their agents."

Midnight responds, "He did it to himself after realizing certain
things including the suspected value of the information. It didn't
hurt that he reversed engineered the spell that another company was
using on their agents."

War says, "He must have feared the information getting out."

Midnight shrugs, "It was encoded and only half there. To decode it
you would need the other half. I don't think Nightmare was aware
that he might have held the other half. I certainly didn't tell him
my suspicions."

Death says, "Assuming that Sentinel won't risk killing Nightmare
before checking out Blitzkrieg, then we have some small amount of
time. Our goal is still to rescue Nightmare. My question to you is
can you convince me that my team won't be at risk working with some
of your team. In particular, I think Doomsday, Griffyn, and
Stormwind are in question."

Midnight says, "I doubt Doomsday will be a risk. I know he works
with his brother and not everything is rosy there. As far as Griffyn
goes, I have assurances from him that everything will be fine unless
War hurts innocents again."

War comments, "They weren't innocent. At least not all of them."

Midnight raises his hand and says, "I'm not going to even go there,
War. As far as Stormwind goes, I cannot guarantee his actions but
Blitzkrieg thinks he will try to act professional. If he breaks the
truce though, hold it against him and not me."

Death nods, "Fair enough. I wasn't going to blame you anyway because
I know your goal is to get Blitzkrieg out of trouble and Nightmare
back to safety. If you will have us, we will work with you. Based
on what Ratspeak said, we think he is being held in his own home.
Ratspeak told us where to find the most recent full-detail plans.
Jester said it was a pain in the butt to get, but they are the most
accurate out there. Way more accurate than what the British
government probably have."

Midnight says, "Tomorrow afternoon come up to Castle Glamis. I will
send Puppet and Shadowfox to do a physical look at the place because
that is the way Shadowfox operates. After he gets back, we will
start planning."

Death says, "Until then. By the way, we were a little concerned
about Blitzkrieg's safety. We sent Pestilence, Famine, and the other
members of the Legion to meet up with your team already. It was
risky considering we hadn't talked to you yet but I doubted it was
going to cause to much trouble."

Midnight shrugs, "I guess it is a moot point by the time I get back
there. I have some other business to attend, so if you will excuse
me."

Midnight gets up and leaves.

Death says softly as he leaves, "If Midnight only trusted his
decisions, he would make one heck of a leader."

War looks at Death and says, "Even without trusting himself, he makes
an excellent leader."]<<<<<
