Simsense producers accused of "insensitivity" as casting continues
Lanniford Productions, makers of the top-rated simsense series
"Manhatten Blues", denied allegations of gross insensitivity as they
began seeking a replacement for Cinnamon DuBois, the actress who
portrayed the stunning but none-too-bright socalite "Proxie".
Speculation is rife as to how Lanniford intend to write the popular
Proxie out of the long-running series.
"As they saying goes, the show must go on." explained Ralph Beaumont,
head of Domestic Entertainment. "Miss DuBois was liked and respected by
everyone. I have confidence that she will return and take over the role
again. But in the meantime, I knew her well and she would want us to
press on with the show." Preparations for the fifth season of the
successful simsense are continuing.
Meanwhile, despite intensive enquiries, Lone Star have apparently been
unable to make progress in the case: Cinnamon DuBois is still missing,
and no ransom note or other message has yet been received. Sources say
investigators are "deeply concerned" at the lack of any developments.
