>>>>>[Greetings again. I must say that Maxim Arms spends an obscene amount
of
nuyen on internal security, especially in thier Matrix. I was rather hard
pressed to decrypt this internal memo. Most megacorporations don't bother to
encrypt thier internal communications unless they are truly vital, and this
hardly qualifies. However, as it has some relation to the operations that many
of you are planning on Farrleton Machineries, I figured that you might welcome
the intelligence.

+++++Include Decrypted Memo, Maxim Arms, Report on Farrleton Machineries

From: Johnothan Skulkin, VP-Corporate Security
To: Nicole Velli, CEO
Subject: Farrleton Machineries
Security Status: No additional levels of encryption required, no vital
security information contained within

Farrleton Machineries stock has begun to fall in response to Renraku's short
selling of thier holdings. However, in response, numerous small corporations,
suspected and known to be held through Renraku shells have begun to purchase
the stock in large enough quantities to gain a signifigant percentage of
control of Farrleton.

Riglia himself is currently on a buisness trip to London where he is attempting
to raise additional funds to purchase capitol goods and, with the short
selling, provide much needed financial support for his company. He will be
returning in approximately 3 days.

Farrleton Machineries has several systems and technologies that would be useful
to Maxim. I recommend we proceed with our original plan of action.
It is also likely that several of the original raiders on our headquarters will
be involved. If we can finish the arrangements prior to the raid on Farrleton
and the virtually guaranteed demise of Riglia, then this may provide us with
the opportunity to remove the runners permanently.

Security risk assessment: Minimal risk associated with any of the involved
parties.

Signed: John Skulkin

I really must say that dataworms are most useful. It truly is disappointing
that most of mine have already been discovered.]<<<<<

shells, eh? I guess I never woulda suspected, had the tipoff not been played. Thanks fer
the key, guys. And any runners out there holding Farrleton stock, some free advice: once
'Raku and Maxim get close to majority, those voting rights are gonna be worth a
bucketload.

Anyone wantin' ta get in on this one while ya got the chance, I have
direct access to 2000 shares, which I am currently optioning at a
price just slightly above what Renraku is offering, with a wider
window. I will market 1500 of these after the option expires, and
arrange blind proxies for those who require anonymity.

I will, however, require standard security clearances for the
transaction. Provide references.

In an unrelated offer, I am currently looking at acquiring any number
of shares in Frypp Security. Anyone interested in selling or arranging
a proxy to the CEO, drop me a line, and again, references,
please.]<<<<<

multinational nor extraterritorial, huh? Well, you may be interested to know that the
recent display of fireworks has encouraged no small bit of corporate and governmental
interest. I'm very sorry for that, and was hoping to strengthen your position for the
upcoming onslaught. Apparently, your needs will be more tangible than I could
provide.]<<<<<

>>>>>[A special tip on this one: I would keep a close eye on the local
Mitsuhama interest in this one. They are extremely interested in penetrating your matrix
security and possibly acquiring assets.

If you do require additional financing in this matter, you might
consider issuing some public stock with extremely limited voting
rights. I'm positive I could generate enough hype to ensure a high
price, though I would require some small amount of information in
regards to your local competition. And for extra security, I could
lock 75% of all public shares into an anonymous trust proxied to you.

Look in a fraggin' telecom directy. Is there a FryppSec presence
anywhere outside of SF? Sure there's an LA office, but it's just an
address, no assets except a telecom. And a phone doesn't make one
extraterritorial (especially a phone in the same damn country!).
Besides, bein' in SF, we get the best of both worlds anyway. CFS
covers the mundane day-to-day crapola of social security and the like
since the Japs have pressured them into it, and the Japs keep us is
business (indirectly, sure, but, hey, work is work).

My only ambition at true multinationality got aborted along with the
Seattle office when we hadta pull Jacamus. Extraterritoriality is
just too damn much trouble.

Why in the frag would any megacorp want to acquire us anyway?
Frag us over, maybe. Buy us out and shut us down, maybe. But I
still got the money and a whole shmeer of suddenly out of work
former employees. I move across the bay and start over again. Or I
go underground and start a friggin' crime wave. Big fraggin' deal.
Slows me down, but I'm still goin'.

They've all got their own in-house security and they don't give a
flyin' frag about our clientele so there's nothin' we got that
anybody else would want. Except maybe the 'Bee, but if anybody
wanted that, they'd just take the damn thing.

Thanks, but no.]<<<<<
