Center and--First things first, it looks like Michael is going to
pull through. He's going to need some major surgery, though.

As you may have heard, my, er, comrade in arms, Raven (the mage)
and a bear shaman who goes by the Transformer, managed to pull
something out of the kid. We jacked him into the matrix, and the
things infecting him went crazy, taking over his senses. Evidently
they were dormant in those strange cyber-structures until he entered
the Matrix.

To keep him from dumping himself, I hit him with about three or four
good sticky programs, while Transformer (who evidently had the help
of some fragging huge bear spirit) tore the nasties free from Michael's
aura. At that point, Raven cut them loose from his head, and they
were quickly dispatched.

Of course, he's gone through hell, but at least he's alive. In the
meantime, have any of you magical types ever heard of some kind of
nasty spirit that could inhabit a latticework inside a human (well,
elven) body? I'm clueless.

Hey, if anyone out there wants to come by and see the little guy,
he should be able to accept visitors pretty soon. Oh, and Spirit?
