>>>>>[ Okay, okay, guys...I was a little rushed earlier. Now that I've got
the
time, here's what I know:

(Oh, and by the way, I.B.A.: You know the only reason you're saying that is
because Doom isn't around to hear you...so ZIP IT.)

Doom disappeared a few days after Thanksgiving Day (when he had dinner at the
Morgan's...Sonic flew "air taxi" from the airport for him). To hear the
countess tell it, he was doing some fairly routine--legit--Matrix work when
suddenly the building is surrounded by police and gobs o' Aztech paramilitary
guys--if any of you remember the commotion of a few weeks ago in down town?
Press called it a fire mishap in one of those ritzy high-rise apartments--
bunch of fragging drek, that is.

Aztechnology, under a directive by the Corporate Court, was sweeping the
building. They apparently dragged most of the occupants away for
"questioning." This was when he was taken.

Doom's wife has been in contact with him since his being taken into custody.
What he said to her was that he was charged with infiltrating the Corporate
Court system. He was "duly questioned," and confessed. ( Those drek-heads
fragging TORTURED HIM! ) Right now, he's awaiting trial in about a month from
now. He says the information about his breaking in is rigged and the charges
are trumped-up. ]<<<<<

WELL, the worst part is that the Aztech creeps've got him locked in a node.
Sortof a VR cell, no deck, no programs, no way out. Maze also said that he
told her he was "suffering from severe sleep deprivation," so he's gotten at
max a few hours over the last few weeks.

EVEN WORSE is the fact that they NEVER let him out! By the time the trail
rolls around, he'll be lucky if he can still walk for all that his muscles will
atrophy. All of this just means he's going to be a wreck even if he gets off
the hook.

Is there hope? Well, the stuff he's got for evidence his wife didn't go
into--we were kinda pressed for time--but she and his group are sure he's
innocent. I'm sure he is. If Doom were there, he wouldn't have gotten caught,
I know it.

I've gotta go... Sorry guys. ]<<<<<

The
kid just worshiped him...

Still, it's important to note that Doom's not in Germany, he's in Seattle, in
the Aztechnology building. But one thing, and his wife made this clear...given
the good doctor's connections, no forced extractions should be attempted,
'cause there could be...ah, UNPLEASANT international effects. [ The drek will
hit the fan BIG TIME, chummers! ] What we're trying to do right now, besides
avoid Ganz, is work on getting some proof Doom's innocent.

One thing before I go: Ganz's involvement is only guessed at right now.
Hangtime's positive, but I'm no so sure. We'll relay more info as we get it,
chummers. ]<<<<<

Try growing the fuck up and asking the listowner to do it. Did you read
the FAQ? The one that tells you at least twice who the listowner is?
Did you save the message you got when you signed up that told you in
complete detail how to get off? Did you follow those instructions? Can
you do anythign except whine like a big baby?

Don't worry, you'll be removed.

Good riddance, too.
