Thanks for getting in touch. Thank you, also, for understanding my position
and possible objections to corporate/foreign sponsorship: basically, presently
I am sworn to protect the UCAS. Provided the interests you represent (I
would, of course, like to know who they are, but I doubt that will be possible
<g>) are not inimical to the UCAS, there shouldn't be a problem.

I've opposed most corporations and many nations in the past, though on
professional terms: only Aztlan/Aztechnology and Tir Taingire seem to retain
grudges, though I recently crossed swords with Maxim and they may still be
angry with me. If they are part of your coalition, one hopes they can set
aside their urge for vengeance on me while I serve their ends.

So, to paraphrase your words and confirm my understanding: you represent
interests who want this business dealt with, but at the moment would rather
do it by backing a known loose cannon like me, than involving themselves
directly. Your speciality is in realising their desires without compromising
your sponsors' involvement.

I have acquired a measure of assistance, and have others I could ask for
help if I needed it. My government contacts are silent, of course, since
any action of the type I carry out would be grossly illegal <g> And you're
absolutely right. At the moment, I'm chewing on street-level sales outlets:
while I have a couple of leads, my hope is that their pursuit of me will
provide more information and give me a clearer target. Hence, they need
something to chase: hence, I stay in the open.

If you can help me with information, maybe transport and supply, possibly
backup - the usual black-ops stuff, I'd be grateful - evinced by using your
info plus my own to attack higher up the system. As high as it takes, too:
right now I don't have much to lose by pissing off Aztlan, and I have
a reputation for insanity to live up to.

As for the rewards, well, I'd like to be virtuous and say I'll do it for free,
but if nothing else my teammates are being paid and should share in the
recompense of their work.

Basically, it sounds like you want to help me and pay me to do something I
was committed to doing already. I accept, gratefully. I will continue to
treat you with some caution, but you are obviously professional enough to
understand that and accept it.
