Good evening, this is Charlie Fingers, here at the site of several
violent deaths.

Several hours ago, as Tom Shane and Co. Jewlry was closing, their
security system went active and began targetting the remaining patrons
and salepeople, killing 7 and wounding 5 others before it could be shut
down. That the security gun was loaded with regular ammunition and also
a minigun has not been overlooked by Lone Star, who has charged Tom Shane
and Co. with possession of military weapons in addition to the normal
charges.

We have recently discovered that the manufacturer of the system is
Sheppard-Intrepid, a corporation and security provider with operations
world-wide. On this news, thier stock stopped rising, but has yet to
mark any further changes, positive or negative.....

...gers, and the news today is that a local manufacturer of corporate
computer security programs, collectively known as Intrusion
Countermeasures, Warrior Data Protection, had a malfunction in thier
security system. In fact, it has been leaked to this reporter that the
malfunction in fact was in the same system that yesterday killed 7 in a
jewlrey store. Warrior has announced the deaths of some 12 employees and
several million nuyen in hardware damage.

On the rumor that it was Sheppard-Intrepid's security devices that were
malfunctioning, thier stock began dropping slightly....
