Simsense star seized in Bellevue highway horror
The actress and model Cinnamon DuBois, best known for her role as the
airheaded socialite "Proxie Price" in the top-rated series Manhattan
Blues, was kidnapped in broad daylight as she stopped at a traffic
signal near her Bellevue apartment.
Two armed individuals forced their way into her automobile and drove
away: the PANICBUTTON signal was triggered, but disabled before Lone
Star were able to respond.
The vehicle, a white Saab Dynamit convertible, was recovered from
Redmond hours after the attack in a badly damaged state. Allegations
that bloodstains and torn clothing were found inside received an answer
of "no comment" from police spokespersons.
A police spokesperson said a standard kidnap enquiry was underway,
although no ransom demand had yet been recieved. Miss DuBois was alleged
to have been experiencing "contractual difficulties" with her employers,
Lanniford Productions: Lanniford also refused to comment.
