Mark. Well I am not sure. I think you know as much as I do. Although I
would like to meet this "Christopher Harker."

As far as Ratspeak goes, you should know me better Kor. After all, you are
the one who blasted me for how I dealt with Action Jackson should . . . Oh
well, I guess you don't. If I went straight for him, I wouldn't be much a
thing to worry about. Now when he pays for defenses for a real long time,
bankrupting himself. . . it will be then I will have to decide if he is
truly worth the effort. And then, Ratspeak could hire a whole army and it
wouldn't help. If there is enough left of the poor sap to warrant it, I
will get you the trinkets you request.

You realize, that he knows exactly what he is up against now? After all,
we did work together for the longest time. Perhaps Ratspeak forgets why I
he left. Ratspeak doesn't know where Scourge is. If he did, he would have
already posted it, because he loves getting the scoop first. But first I
have to disappoint him one more time. Maybe I should ruin one of his
decks. To repay him for the turtle. Good evening, Jason. ]<<<<<

Nice try. How's your deck? Weren't expecting two deckers to be around me
when I came here? Bummer, eh? Don't worry Ratspeak, what I have planned up
my sleeve next time is even worse.

Anyway, he prints out all the news fit to be aired especially if it is
likely to cause someone pain. He will backstab you once and then defend
your honor, in the name of a good story. How many times, my rat-faced
decker have you done this to me? Each time thinking you are safely away
from me. Each time thinking that I won't bother. You of all people should
know me better than that. Since when is anything truly out of reach.
Since when do I ever forget. I chose my own way to deal with my opponents.
Never forget my past, for I shall not forget yours. Sleep well, my rodent

sunlight fading away. . . just like your life.]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Good luck finding him. If he is using Shadowfox's contacts with
Shadowfox's blessings or not, he will be a hard one to trace. Shadowfox's
blessings. . . I wonder how true that whole thing was. How hard would it
be for Ratspeak to have staged the whole thing as a lure to draw me out?

The sword is not Powerhouse's. Doomsday and I gave that one to Cerise. I
STRONGLY doubt she will let it out of her arms to anyone. The sword in the
video was Blitzkrieg's. It means a lot to him.

If this "Christopher Harker" is not putting on an act, he at least is not
about to kill Blitzkrieg, for he wouldn't have bothered taking the guitars.
Of course this is doubly so if it is the case of Ratspeak striking.
Ratspeak is not into death merely good stories. At least most of the time.
Ratspeak would sell me out because Ratspeak is aware that I will generate
interesting news on how I deal with it. Ratspeak wouldn't sell someone
like DragonEyes out because that would just get a lot of people killed
(namely DragonEyes and most likely Ratspeak in the aftermath). Ratspeak
would attack you because you didn't make your case against me strong enough
not to get torn apart. What is worse is that Ratspeak used a decently
logical if cynical argument against you. That you let Ratspeak's words get
to you . . . well I don't know if Ratspeak was expecting you to self
destruct from it.

If you truly want me to kill Ratspeak now, I will work out a contract for
you to look over. I normally don't do wetwork as an overriding goal of a
mission, but I have been known to make exceptions if the case is truly
noteworthy or personal.

---

DragonEyes: With Doomsday's comments in that doctor's post, I will say that
he is indeed in trouble. I suspect the doctor knew something of
DragonEyes' private life. If Dark Angel truly launched a trace on the man,
then Dark Angel probably already knows where the Doctor is. It would be
wise to check on that. It might very well have something to do with that
city that you were in last November.

Doomsday is Doomsday. If he isn't in direct trouble then I will worry
about it later. I am not convinced that the massacre was directed at them.
I wonder if anyone is truly looking into that anyway.

Ares, Shadowfox, Sprinkler, Scourge and Blitzkrieg deserve a lot of
attention in my mind. Apparently Ares is interested in finding me. Might
be related to whatever is happening to Shadowfox. It might be related to
Ratspeak. It could even be related to a man known as "a Collector." Among
other things, this man was responsible for stealing Powerhouse's sword and
giving it to HAMMER. I worked with the man, he is a specialist in his area
of namely collecting things. Since I returned one of his objects that he
collected, he has taken a disliking to me. I wonder how much is related to
either "a Collector" or Ratspeak. Until I am sure of that, I will not
chase Christopher Harker. I will pray to God that Blitzkrieg is still
alive and that Christopher's motives were real and not false. I wouldn't
put money on my wishes being correct though. It would be far to
convenient.

---

Doomsday probably has a good grasp on where Shadowfox is. Press him and
find out. It may clean up the mess a little. You might also want to ask
about "Christopher Harker." DO NOT tell him about Blitzkrieg. He is
already distracted enough as it is. Oh, one last thing, I would not make
the assumption that Doomsday is trusting anyone he doesn't personally know
well. It will make getting information out of him very hard.

I just had an amusing thought. All I need is FireWraith to re-materialize
and start hunting me . . . It would complete the circle the circus around
me. I wonder, in my analysis I was assuming this is directed at me.
Perhaps it isn't? You might want to do a worst case scenario assuming that
this isn't aimed at me. It might provide some avenues to explore. I
suggest you leave no possibility unexplored. ]<<<<<

Two men sit on a bench in the park: the view is from behind, from a
small camera with a directional mike. One wears civilian clothes, the
other a hooded cloak: the park is empty in the November drizzle, only
the occasional determined jogger running past.

"You have contracted for the final phase?" the robed man asks in an
electronic voice.

"Soon. I'm concerned as to how to handle it: Shadowland is becoming
unresponsive." the other replies.

"Combine can create a shell ID. Use that." the hooded man says shortly.
"That bank _must_ be destroyed."

The civilian shrugs. "It will be. I thought, perhaps, Harrow should
accompany the mission?"

"No. Our personnel must do nothing out of the ordinary for now. You are
being watched too closely. Wait, and resume normal practices when the
surveillance is elsewhere. I have almost completed my new home: it is
both a superb place of research, and an all but impenetrable stronghold.
"

"Very well. But when the next operation is complete, win or lose, I'll
be without help. Who do we have to replace them?"

"I have it in hand. You will have five or six agents by the middle of
next year. Until then I suggest you remain covert. You will have little
need of money, the loans will be dead. I will ensure your lifestyle is
adequate. Perhaps I will provide a companion tailored to your... tastes.
Almost a vacation, in fact, with only your official duties to perform."
The robed man's voice drips honey. "We have laid the foundations. Our
next mission will add to our wealth, weaken the UCAS, and strengthen our
allies. There will be blood on the carpets of the Pentagon in its
aftermath, and you will be ideally placed to exploit the chaos. In its
aftermath you will sit higher than ever before, closer to your prize.
But we must not sacrifice success for speed."

" We must not sacrifice success for speed." repeats the civilian.

"We must be patient and careful."

"We must be patient and careful." nods the civilian.

"You trust my judgement and will follow my advice." Still the wheedling,
cajoling tone from the robed man, despite the electronic note to his
synthetic voice.

The civilian nods again. "I trust your judgement and will follow your
advice."

The hooded man rises and leaves: the civilian waits a few moments, then
walks behind the bench and reaches for the camera.

Thought I'd fall for your mind control, did you? Forgot I knew about it,
made sure I could ride it out? Bet this is what you tried to do to Emma.

Well, I'm gonna stay with the program. And I'll play my part. But when
we've unified the continent, _I_ will rule my province, and _you_ will
die.

How? Because I'll make sure your bosses know, the ones who think you're
working for them, the ones who don't know about your weird experiments
and your island fortress and your diverting funds.

All this shit with Akbar to raise some cash for your pet projects, I
_know_ you didn't clear it through them, they don't know anything: but I
and my staff were running our butts off trying to cover for your raghead
army.

I could have given you Lynch and Lilith on a plate, motherfucker, if you
hadn't decided to mess with my head. This time, I'm not going to. Might
even help them out. I know how I could. Good move for me, too. Keep them
off my back, point them at you. You're not indispensible, and you're not
the only brain in this outfit, Dr Death, I can think for myself
too.]<<<<<
