Now as I recall it, the UCAS government shut down all of the old
Brotherhood places where the bugs hang out, and I don't recall hearin'
rumour on the streets of any new nests. So if you got some information
that you think is important, you'd be better off tellin' all of
Shadowland about it, then just little ol' me. You see, it's kinda like
this, I'd like to see a little proof of this thing, and I figure that
any proof you got, is going to be important to more people than just me.
if there's bugs in Seattle again, in any kind of numbers, then I feel
that the Shadows had best be warned about it, and maybe they can
mobilise again to fight this threat.


Yeah, I know you might get treated like an asshole, like that Dark
Angle, Angel, whatever, fella, but he didn't have no proof, just his own
words on the matter, and a guy can't be takin words like that as gospel
without some sorta line backing him up.


So, what you got man, and is it for real, or another damn hoax? I'd
kinda like to know, you see, because I have a vested interest in
exterminating species like that, and I figure Blade and a couple of the
other fellas here would be kinda interested in kicking some ass too.
Also there's that poor dude who blew his deck up gettin' all excited, if
he's back on line, he might want a piece of this.]<<<<<

I am sorry, proof I can not offer. What we have and might look as proof, would
be interesting as well to our enemies as well. Well, there is something you
might find interesting, and after having talked to ... someone I gat

As you may have noticed, I blurred the faces and did everything to keep my
fellows anonymus, but apart from that it is how we received it. Just FYI, I am
the one with the shoulder wound.

And as you can see, we too lost friends, and we still assume that was due to
bugs, so please do not tell me about losses - I have a friend here who just
sits there and stares at the wall, until something triggers, then we run for
action 'gainst the chitin-beasts again...

Oh, yeah, I just see I forgot... Yes, I _was_ talking about what a friend
calls "Invae", Insect spirits, creatures of might and power, about man-sized
beasts that are more then willing to tear your guts from your bowels.

As for new nests... I ... lived through the UB shutdown over there in CalFree,
and 'twas no fun. Most of the _known_ bugs we meet today seem to be entrapped
in the CZ, but I guess you have information on how the UB was set up. Which
people it tried to attract in the end. And I for one didn't see many
high-level people go down with it. So you should assume what I assume - there
are still bugs in high positions.

But not these are our problem right now. In and/or near Chi-Town there _is_ at
least one hive _outside_ the CZ. You want proof for that? Hm, how about
this...

A hectic scenery inside a small cafe, watched from a cybercam over the bar.
Armored troopers with assault rifles to the right, several civilians to the
left. Two people dead on the floor, and someone is fighting a fire elemental
in the background, with lots of foam coming from a metallic humanoid figure.

Just as the shape of an enourmous creature that looks like a
two-meter-wasp starts manifesting, both an elf and a scotish clad man charge
over their cover, attacking it. The elf screams "Yea... shit,"
then hits the wasp katana-first, while the other one screams something
you don't understand (a line at the bottom informs you: "Foreign
Language: Unknown Language."), and does a good swing with his
traditional scotish sword, the claymore. As the fight continues,
the elf clad in black curses on radio "You should *cough* have TOLD me *heavy
breathing* a BUG spirit!"

As you can see, I again hid the faces and IDs. This was from an abush we fell
for when we were picking up some friends. I hope that does show you we are not
just madmen...
