>>>>>[I know you aren't expecting a private message from this address, but
hear me out. One of your friends has gotten himself into a bit of
trouble, which some friends and I are helping him with right now.

You may have seen him looking like he was in bad shape, calling for a
cyberdoc on the local shadowland node on the 8th of April. He tells me he
sent you a private message on the 17th of April, but that since he was in
a bad way back then, and hasn't had a chance to hear from you yet, he
doesn't know if you got it.

Some people went through a lot of trouble to put him in a world of hurt,
and not to long ago, made a rather forceful grab, presumably to get him
back. I want to assure you that some of my associates are making sure he
is safe and went to great lengths to see that the attempt failed.

Now that he is feeling more secure, he is asking to see you and wants to
have the packets he said he left with you.

Get back to me with a place and time of your choosing where we can have
you meet with one of our group. He will bring with him some evidence to
show you that we are working with your friend so you can trust us, but for
the sake of that safety, he will then need you to come with him to another
location that we have secured so that you can meet. Your friend seems to
trust you enough to want to see you. We, on the other hand are being
careful about everything.]<<<<<
