>>>>>[Okay, NOW I'm pissed. While moving my gear to the coffin, I found
out
that the devil rats also chewed through my collection of Bowie tapes. Not
disks, not even compacts... TAPES. REAL antique. REAL rare. REAL
expensive. And, to top it off, one of them was in my old sterio to
start with. Okay, so I'm a mindless romanticist... but theres something
about the old tapes that makes it seem more realistic.
Sheesh, enough griping. In case anybody cares, if you see anything
like that amulet I found, it's the good-luck charm for a lunatic street mage
called Talons of Blood. Who, incidentally, has been doing some research
into all the little, teeny, tiny, deadly species that've popped up 'round here.
Like, for example, flameworms. Didj'a realise that something a
foot long can make a 5 foot explosion of flame? Real nasty buggers, those...
But, hey, I wasn't the one who stepped on them, so I guess it's okay. I don't
need contacts... just me and my girl.]<<<<<
