single largest Christian sect in the world, and you KNOW there's some mightily
pissed-off Catholics out there who wanna know who offed their spiritual leader.
Just think of all the Mafia dons, much less the ramifications this will have
for other leaders. Despite what Necromancer might have you think, religion
still matters A LOT to people all over the world. There are even some
Protestants who have gotten off of their anti-papal stint and will sympathize
with their Catholic brethren in this tragedy.
As a twentieth century comedian once said, just after J.P. II was shot:
"Now, what's your rationale for shooting the Pope? Do you say, "Hey, I'm going
to go to Hell anyway, I just don't wanna wait in line with everyone."
