practicing its use? What form are you taking?
The taste of blood... is something you're born to, I suppose. Human
blood is too salty for comfort, it makes me quite nauseous. Swine aren't
very pleasant either. Impala or gazelle, though...
Oddly enough, the taste of blood does little for me as a human, but if
I'm at all hungry it can make me change if I'm not careful (into a shape
that _does_ like blood-raw meat)
Bringing down running prey is not something I do too often. We leopards
rush from cover, pounce and kill: if the prey starts to run you've
basically lost it. Knock them over, go for the neck and get your fangs
into their spine, as they're reacting to your rush.
If I feel like pressing a chase, though, I copy cheetah technique: knock
their back legs out from under them with a paw, and go for the throat as
they fall. Works well for the cheetahs, often works for me.]<<<<<
