Subject: PSU lift-off and the drek that hit us there....

>>>>>[I'm a startin this bugger with a not-so-humble request. Roxey and
Collussus have gone into the realm of the missin, and anyone with ANY knowledge
of them or Diana(she's missin too, and AJ is worried BIG time) should get in
touch with the net here. We'll be hangin around for another day or two, and
then Nex and Hellblast and AJ will be headin off to Cal Free in that new car a
AJ's-Nice car too...

Well, I'll cut the lip-flappin now and get ta the point, though the details
will be comin out later when my sensory log is edited of all them Frags and
Dreks and Son-of-a-Slitches. And besides, ma BABY took damage, fraggin drek!
I DON'T like doin combat with FB Eagles and a Panzer...

But first a little background on PSU so you know how we actaually got away.
PSU was originally a beautiful university, one of the largest in the old US of
A, and while not a MIT&T, still fraggin good at what the taught, which was
fraggin near everythin. But all that ended not too long after I was hospital-
ized for becomin a lovely picture of orkhood. Yep, I was there on the Night
of Rage, when one of the oldest and grandest universities was reduced to fragginrubble(a
mild cracking in anotherwise steady voice).

Well, I survived like so many other orks and trolls by hidin in the tunnels thatPSU had
begun buildin in the 1990's, and by breakin into Wagner Buildin, the
ROTC headquarters on Campus and runnin off with what we could. Even Police
Services couldn't stop the mobs, so we pushed them aside and took over thier
weapons and held the campus-from below ground. Pattee Librairy was burned down
and over 15 million volumes went with them, though we could save only a few.
The stadium was filled with bodies where once the Nittany Lions played, and
even half the team was dead(several of the linemen had goblinized and thier
friends and teammates were killed for bein "sympthasizers"). But when the sun
rose through the haze and smoke after a light rain, we started to rebuild.

And rebuild we did. Old Main, whose belltower was blackened with soot and
whose chimes had long ago been replaced by speakers, was rebuilt to look just
as it had before the Night of Rage. And we closed out the world, specifically
the town of State College around us, an ultra-conservative and blatently
racist town whose residents had caused the damage in the first place. And
with the weapons we had taken, and the debris from un-recaimable buildins, we
raised a fence even a troll couldn' tear down, and we placed guards. And work
continued.

As the old campus was repaired, we started to receive requests from people who
wern't orks or trolls to come and help repair the campus. Shortly, in an
amazing show of PSU Pride, hundreds of thousands of nuyen were flowin into the
reclamation fund and engineers and scientists and architects and buisness
people and philosophers came back to the school that made many of them what theywere. And
those who couldn't help with the actual designs did the actual labor, and those who
couldn't do either sent money, or their friends and children and
husbands and wives, and PSU rose from the ashes of the Night of Rage. Slowly,
but with a knowledge that it would rise over Central Pennsylvania again.

And in little more than a year, we re-opened the school to the world of meta-
humanity. State College, without our influx of nuyen to maintain it, slowly
died out as PSU expanded itself out into the town. The racists who couldn't
handle the changes and the power we "lesser" races had in the school moved away
and in another year, State College became University Park, the official "town"
name of PSU since the middle of the last century. And classes returned and
so did the students and the teachers and the support that kept the school open
hasn't faltered to this day.

One of the things that PSU eventually succeeded in doing was getting a Corporatetag,
granting the entire town of University Park extra-territoriality and the
right to run it's own affairs without interference from outside. When this
happened, we gradually became a nearly total metahuman college whose simple
goal was to educate. Several times, we had to defend ourselves against people
like the Alamos20K, and the Fist of Five specifically, and Humanis and all
them polis, but for the most part we were left alone. Until this past weekend.

On Sunday night, while we were waitin for the night to fall so I could take off,the UCAS
Army with air support attacked the PSU campus, and our small security
forces were overrun. It was in our defense that Roxey and Collussus disappeared and we
fear for their health. I am a "citizen" of PSU, like most of the grads
from there, and yes, I want to know what happened to my beloved town and
school.]<<<<<
