if this doesn't pan out, there are other possibilities we can check out.

Shortly after the lab was blown up by Bloodied Otter (maybe) from GreenWar
(or not), Maria Hodges was absent from work for a while. Exactly where she
went was not known, but when she came back she had some feeble story about
being too sick to call in. It was assumed that she had been up to no good,
and a reprimand was filed. However, there was a cross-reference made to her
psych file, wherein there were some records of interviews she's been having
with the company shrink for a couple of weeks now. It seems that she's had
a collapse of self esteem, and is experiencing a buildup of paranoid fear.
Suspicion is starting to grow that she was the victim of something.
Kidnapping was on the list of speculative possibilities, and that sounds
like the sort of shadowy event for which I was sent to look.

If you can get confirmation of that, good... I'm going to start checking on
the other leads from the matrix, see what I can find, but I don't think
there's anything in any of them.]<<<<<

>>>>>[I had Ms. Hodges mind-probed, and it appears that, as the psych
people suspected, she had been kidnapped. Subsequently I had her brought to
an interview in my office, and confronted her about the events. She
admitted to the truth with accompanying emotional collapse, regaling me
with tales of what felt like a week or two of extreme terror. She should be
capable of aiding us in our search for the kidnappers, since she saw enough
of one of them to recognise him if she met him again.

She claims not to know what ransom her father paid to get her back. I have
arranged a meeting with him for tomorrow afternoon.]<<<<<

whoever did the kidnapping, but I'll need Maria present to do it... can you
have her brought to the warehouse? It'll take me about seven days to set it
up, then you can send in Maria, and after that there must be no
interuptions for about a day. It would be good if you could provide some
temporary security cover just in case there's a physical
counter-attack.]<<<<<
