spike on an un-born child. Though telling you the truth cause distress, it is
better than falsehood. It can honestly be said that a severe mana spike will
only effect un-born children less than 1% of the time, unfortuanately that less
than 1% consists of children with a high magical attunement. There is a
possibility for magical potential in any child, whether their parents are active
or not, though the parents being active greatly increases the chance of the
children being active also. Since you are active and the father is also, your
child has a good chance of being active. the results of a severe mana spike on
a child with potential magical attunement are unfortuanely severe. In most
instances the child will be killed from the excess mana of the spike, if the
child lives, it will probably suffer from various physical disorders. There is
a very small chance of good outcome in the form of the child being normal except
for not being magically active. Yes, there is chance of nothing happening at
all to the child, but it is very slim.


There is something else you should know, everything that you went through in
your ordeal could hardly be considered a severe mana spike, possibly the first
one could be considered that, but not the fluctuations your went through nor
what happened after. I trully am sorry.*****

Spirit, I think it would be good for you to talk to her at the party. And
there is something unusual about the child...specifically, that it's
development is not only accelerated, but still accelerating. Geometrically,
no less. It is due to be born in May, instead of August. And Nightfox, it
appears that the child will be magically active. In fact, it might be active
upon birth. From what I have read recently, this is most unusual. I would
certainly be grateful for any knowledge you might have on this matter. Thank
