>>>>>[Preliminary recon has shown one or two interesting things about
the site we are to visit. Some rebel activity has been reported in the
area, though not enough to warrant any government interest or
retaliation, not yet anyway. What has happened is that the
archeological teams at the site have been pulled out, until the rebels
either go away, or government forces can sweep the area. We don't have
the time to wait for this event, so we're going in. I have an idea of
the likely area these guys will be sitting in, but we'll need to recon
the locale to pinpoint them. Hopefully they'll be well away from where
we want to be.

Dewy should be arriving with Blaze later today, which means most of our
gear will be coming in with them. So if you could all take a break from
your sight-seeing and meet me in the San Carnado, on the waterfront at
2000hrs. We'll spend the night on the boat, Dewy can cover us there,
and our plans will be just that, ours, also I want a full equipment
check and pre-op prep. Once Pharoah has finished scouting the area,
we'll formulate a plan and go in. I want this over before it happens.
Logically we should be able to get into the site, and have a clear 8 hrs
before anyone thinks to investigate the disturbance. The quieter we can
keep it, the longer we'll have.

See you all this evening.]<<<<<

Canis, I don't know if this will get through to you, I kinda hope it
will, because you've been real quiet lately. It would not be good if
you had allowed yourself to be caught by our enemy.

Gates has been continuing the research regarding our little adventure
down here, and I think we have stumbled across something that is bigger
than we first suspected. I don't know what this artefact is or what it
can do, or even if it will help against the bugs, we can find little
reference to it in any archeological texts, however, it has been
mentioned in passing in one or two of the Ma(&^$"&!%^...

Gates pulled this off an archive down here, though how it got here is a
puzzle. But it should help you to regain some of your lost confidence
in our mission in South America. They were more involved than I think
anyone suspects.....

We have a lead. Will follow up within 48. Rebel activity precludes
caution. Possible engagement with hostile forces imminent. Will advise
later. Initial recon indicates terrain favourable.

Recent discoveries in region place possibility of relevant information
in high category. Expediting with tolerance.]<<<<<
