>>>>>[ Greetings. I apologize for the delay in the completion of your
requests, but it has been an incredibly busy time for me. In addition
to the case I currently have, I started tracking deaths of government
employees.

Most of the deaths look normal on the surface, but pursuing the details
has me wondering. Are the deaths related in some manner? It is an
impressive cross-section of the government agencies, but the deaths
seem to be happening more frequently than normal life cycle
fluctuations.

Anyway, enough of my musings. I noticed that Rachel has delayed the
"Killing Zone: Invasion CAS" tour until after the Halloween gig. How
are things going for the band and for you? ]<<<<<

will probably start hyping the Halloween opening and the coming
"Invasion."

As far as things go, the European tour has been so kind to Killing Zone
that Rachel actually decided to delay the return to North America until
the first solid date here. The club is ready to go, which is amazing
considering where it was a few months ago.

My social life is in shambles. I honestly wonder how I always manage
to get myself pulled in so many directions. I have the club, I have
'bodyguarding' Rachel and Nikki, I have research that I am
collaborating on with some of DragonEyes' old associates and Haven, and
I have my normal social worker activities.

Outside of work, I was sort of going with Rachel, but she decided to
call it off due to the fact that she was still in love with her ex-.
Meanwhile, Nikki and I are both confused as to what my role in her life
should be. And now, to top it all off, an old girlfriend wants to get
back together with me. (One of our mutual friends will get a swift
kick for adding that to my list of things to think about. If I ever
catch up to him again.) Then there is Nightmare. We having a
disagreement over Blitzkrieg's choices and it adds a whole other
headache to being around Rachel.

And on top of everything else, it seems like Doomsday has fallen off
the planet again. I was really hoping he would be at the club opening,
since he is one of my serious investors in this effort. While I am on
that topic, I should really ask this: I realize that Killing Zone is
not even remotely close to your choice in music, but I was wondering if
you were going to be present at the opening?

By the way, what happened to your other job options? (And good luck on
your cases.) ]<<<<<

I wish I could say I am surprised to hear that Nightmare has taken his
frustration surrounding his brother on you, but I am not. On the other
hand, if Blitzkrieg can stay clear of the drugs this time, I think it
is doing him a world of good to do something he loves for a change.

Yes, Killing Zone is not my choice in music, but I wouldn't mind
putting in an appearance at the club. Perhaps before the show? I'll
see what I can work out with my schedule.

As far as the job market goes. I have my occasional activites for
JICES, and it looks like the FBI wanted me the most of all the
"interested" parties. At one point it was my second choice, but it
looks like events killed my first choice.

I wonder if one of these days I will remember why I ever convinced
myself to let Black Knight work for me. I am starting to believe that
wasn't one of my most shining moments.

Speaking of German deckers, the R&D people at JICES are almost
disappointed. They haven't had a penetration attempt from Ratspeak in
over three months. A part of me is wondering what the rodent is up to,
but then again, I should really know better.

Still it isn't like him to be silent for this long. I guess I'll add
it to the list of things to check out -- in all my spare time.

Have a good night, Chris. ]<<<<<
