men would sit around a table, staring at their drink, and talking about the

this confused us all, I didn;t understand it, so after a couple of days we

the same thing happened again except that we paid more attention this time.
since I had point I got a glimpse of where he was along with a lot of

pretty much fear, anguish the whole "gamut" to quote Gryff. the aura was

The scene, if you could call it that, opens with a jerky start and a bright
flash. Centered in what must be a very large room is Lung, greater dragon,
in a frighteningly weakened state.

"Did you get it?", he bellows out

"Yes, I got it."

"Then give it to me"

"No, not yet. Before I do I want you to know what _I_ just did to get this
AND why it is I am still giving it to you. For the first time in my career
I killed a man. A guard, nothing more, paid to sit and watch a lab. And I
killed him for fear that he would track me back to you."

"You want more money? Is that what this whole thing is about...give me the
anti-dote, you anger me"

"Oh no, this has nothing to do with money. You see, I know you cannot cast
now. I know that with a twink of my mind I could kill you. No, this isnt
about money, its about my trading a man's life for yours. Its about YOUR
being in the wrong place at the wrong time and trying to cheat death with
by all acounts YOU should be the one dead, not him." The camera angle begins
to slowly circle around Lung and he continues his tirade.

"You knew that the base would be on alert when we got there. You knew that
they would be geared up to take down another attack from you and your forces.
Its about time someone stood up to you"

"My library, take it, its yours, just give me the antidote"

"You aren't listening to me. This has nothing to do with money. You lied to
us to save your ass. You forced me to make the decision to either kill a
man in cold blood or let you die", into view of the camera comes a small vial
twirling end over end towards the towering hulk that is Lung. Quickly he
changes from his draco form to human form and snatches it with blinding speed
out of the air.

"Its already loaded...just inject it"

Lung fumbles with the hypodermic for scant seconds before he finds the proper
injection point.

>>>>>[Im sorry about that. I know how much I hate being kept in the dark
about things so I really shouldnt have held information back on any of
you. I just wasnt sure how this was supposed to fit in.

CH recently abducted a very intoxicated Blitzkrieg from undisclosed location.
CH, who said he was working with Shadowfox's blessings and using shadowfox's
contacts then disappeared. Merrox was the person I asked to do a phone log
search on that location's telecommunications. He turned up the fact that
it was done somewhat sloppily but that it was definitely done well. I hold
to the pretense that it was purposely done that way to make it seem rushed.
Shadowfox doesnt work with anyone less than the best. The fact that they even
remember the phone log amazes me (I cannot remember the number of times I
have had to have someone remind me to cover that particular avenue after a
job -- Amazingly enough, thats why Merrox jocky's our phone systems for
IS&M).

Initially, after a lot of thinking I was guessing that CH wanted to get ahold
of someone named Nightmare who is said to have links to Blitz. This doesnt
seem to be the case. There is something else he wants or needs but I havent
figured that out yet. Maybe one of you is better with ... tactics than I am.

So -- We have:

Blitzkrieg MISSING (Held by CH, location unknown)
Scourge MISSING (Taken from Ares by Ares(?))
Shadowfox MISSING (held up by paperwork(?) by Ares(?))

During a long talk with Doomsday a couple nights back he mentioned that both
he AND Shadowfox were part of a meeting in which Scourge was on overwatch and
that went wrong. Someone broke into the meeting (or maybe just into Ares, this
is currently unclear to me) and a fight broke out. The end of the story is
that they got away and Shadowfox and Doomsday (and two others, unidentified)
were held up. Doomsday was released but that seems to have been the last
place DD remembers being with Shadowfox. The kicker to this is that the meeting
was up here (likely at Scourge's place of employment) and they were flown
to another location and DD was flown back. He doesnt remember the amount
of air time so I have NO clue how far off we are talking.

Merrox -- Could you check into flight plans filed on the dates in question?

DragonEyes MISSING I havent the foggiest.

I believe that is all that I know at this time. Ill keep jogging my memory and
checking my notes to see if there is anything else I havent told you.

Again, Im really sorry. I tend to spend more time thinking to myself than
reporting information back to you guys. Bad move on my part. Information
gathering of this type is not my forte.

Could all of you add: A Collector, Christopher Harker, and Jonathan Harker
to your list of people you need to keep tabs on / get traces off on as
soon as you can?

Do any of you have contacts in TNO? I'd really like to help a friend out of

Lone Star has been searching for this wretch, off and on, mind you, for
quite some time. I do not think that they have put enough effort into it
at any point. He, meaning Wanderer, has not yet attacked anyone of note
as far as I know. Now he is disturbing the peace of my family. I will not
stand by for that.

This is what is happening from my perspective:

Someone tried to kill Neuron Basher last night.
-- With this fresh in my mind I have to say that the sniper was either
a terrible slouch or those were only warning shots. The angle on the
entrance wound was standard. Somewhere between 300 and 500 feet up from
ground level and from about 100 to 300 yards out. LSS hasnt released
information on the ballistics yet. Even claiming that NB was under our
protection isnt giving me a lot of leeway with getting access to the police
records. Fuller is being a little tight-lipped right now as well.
The Wanderer tried to rape and kill Trixie late yesterday.
-- Knowing his track record, he was going for the weaker of the links. I
suspect that he was trying to get back at Me and Griffyn, in a cowards
manner, for stopping his secondary attempt at the children. I've dumped
a ton of money into the streets through every fixer I've ever worked
with in hopes of getting some information back. Right now there are people
nosing around every mission and parish they can think of. It is going to
take a lot of time, Seattle is a huge area. I've requested that every
team hired has or is supplied with a mage who will astrally scan for squatters
with far too much cyberware. His greatest strength will prove to be a weakness
in the long run.
-- On a related note: How did Wanderer, a crazed maniac, know about the
sale of that domicile to NB and Tris? Where is he getting his information?
Yes, I understand that ANYONE can go down to city hall and look that up but
isnt that a little much for someone who we've, up until now, been writing off
as just a psychopath? Food for thought. If anyone cares, I just thought
up a fairly decent insurance scam...not so much a scam but oddity. Both
NB and myself were holding policies on that place until the end of the
month at which time I was going to stop/drop my payments. This might be
useful after all.
Shadowfox is no longer officially missing.
-- Im not at all sure what this means. Could mean nothing, could mean
everything. I just dont understand.
Doomsday, Nightmare, Christopher Harker, Blitzkrieg
-- I think that they are still together (a frightening group in and of
itself). Havent had much contact with them in a while, I dont know
what aspect of this they are working on. I need access to 'mares
brain. Have some things I want to run past him.

Hey, Imp -- You do misinformation and things along those lines, right?
Can you make sure the media doesnt go completely nutso when we pull a fade
out of lala land? I dont care what you do but make sure it seems to everyone
the perfectly logical thing to do.]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Jester and I have been batting around all the data we have
been playing with for a while. After losing to him in a game of
riddles (I'm not really sure how he even talked me into that), I
ended up having to write the damn report. Almost all of this you
already know, but it will be useful to pass around to those recently
arriving from DC to see if they can add any angles to explore.

Here's the long and short scoop on the train attack. The hitters,
four men, were pros. They were all armed with Steyr AUGs in the
assault riffle configuration. They were also modified to have
underbarrel grenade launchers, and they looked smartlinked. The
grenades they were packing were mostly white phosphorous. We also
think they were using ultrasound sights. They were in well-cut
business suits and trenchcoats. They definitely enjoy their line of
work. They also have enhanced reflexes. We have already given you
the enhanced pictures of the four culprits. Hitman #2 and #3 used
satchel charges into the dead and wounded on the platform. The
charges were according to LSS a kilo of C12 packed into several k's
of woodscrews.

LSS found the discarded weapons soaking in dumpster. The weapons
were all inside a PTFE sack along with a few pints of hydrofluoric
acid. Since the acid was brilliantly neutralized with concentrated
sodium hydroxide, there wasn't much that forensics could do with it.
If that wasn't enough, they also thoroughly removed all serial
numbers and even the surviving ammunition has no headstamps or batch
code. Doc and Blitzkrieg think the grenades were Aztlan in
manufacture but lack any other proof of identification for them.

We concluded that they broke in knowing ahead of time the train
schedule. They used Viper Sliverguns on the ticket collector and
security guard. Those weapons haven't been found, so if ballistics
of LSS did their work, you might be able to make those charges stick.
They made a bee-line for train platform and arrived as the train
doors closed. At the time their weapons were concealed under the
dusters. Probably one of the many reasons for killing the security
guard and ticket collector.

Plotting their gunfire revealed that upon getting to the correct
platform, they concentrated first on carriage #3. In particular a
group of six that tried to exit and get away. Once done with them,
and a satchel charge used against them, they spread their fire to
others for collateral damage to confuse the issue. (Which they did
quite well.)

Jester is confident that at the same time they pulled a matrix run
(the decker was not in the station), to cover up their true target.
Jester checked a lot of different angles, and eventually found that
one season pass holder was deleted. This was done consistently
though the train company's matrix and done by somebody skilled. That
season pass holder, we think, was on the train and in carriage #3.

The credstick trails lead through a merry chase through credit
reports, but panned nothing useful out of it. The six people that
they have targeted, we have already shown pictures to you, but to be
consistent with this report, I will talk about them anyway. The
first four are just wageslaves. We have all available information on
them, and suspect that they were just deer in the wrong place.
According to footwork done by Geiger, the fifth was an accountant who
had ties for the local Bellevue Yakuza clan. She did work for their
construction companies that they were interested in.

This sixth one in the group that they concentrated on is probably the
paydirt. He was reported missing in conjunction with a homicide 18
months ago and this is the first (and last) spotting of him. Donald
McGavin, 38, was wanted by LSS and the FBI for questioning in
connection with his wife's "suicide." The wife decided to shoot
herself in the head although there were significant anomalies in the
forensic data. The motive that LSS and FBI had was that Donald's
wife was generously insured and he was having severe financial
problems.

He disappeared from work minutes before LSS arrived to arrest him and
vanished. He was identified by fingerprints and genetic data that
the LSS had on record. His head was conveniently too badly damaged
to do further confirmation.

We found no overly obvious data tampering in the morgue's records.
The only data tampering was skillfully done in the monorail's
records.

Per your suggestion, we are currently checking medical clinic and
hospital records across the area for anyone who could have injuries
that would cause amnesia or confusion, which would indicate a plant.
We are also continuing to see if we can find how the criminals left
Seattle, but that isn't likely to generate results.

Being overly paranoid, it would be useful to do background checks on
the LSS officials that are investigating the case. While it doesn't
seem likely that they are on the take, it is an angle to pursue.

Other than that, there isn't currently much for anyone to do on this
angle beside digging through matrix. With myself, Jester, Sprinkler,
and Keys, it should only be a matter of time before we find what we
are looking for. ]<<<<<

SysOpus could give a shit either way, provided it doesn't happen in his

everybody else is having a bad hair day.

Life in Seattle, you either love it or you hate it, but you never ever
get to predict it.

People, people, people. We all have to live in this city. It has been
a war zone for two months, Mr Mitchell seems intent on keeping it that
way, and some other less tolerant fools here seem happy to oblige him.
The most sensible suggestion I've seen so far - and I'm sorry I can't
remember who said it - was to ignore the silly little man, if he doesn't
get a response, he'll go away and find another place to play. So what
happens? Mr Wabbit decides to stuff his oar into the mess and stir up
the silly agent man again.

Grungebunny. Mr. Mitchell, currently of SIGA is in his own mind James
Bond. He's going to rescue the world from the nasty horrible bad guy
Shadowrunners, he's going to kill all the scumbags that get in his way,
and he's going to make the entire universe safe for normal people -
though he's yet to define what he considers normal. You are not
helping. None of you are. It's all well and good complaining about the
lack of attention from SysOpus, but really, the man has a life - well,
sort of. He has more important tasks to take care of than worry about
the invasion of a particularly virulent bronze. Mr. Mitchell is a
disease, a symptom of modern society, and as such he has a very short
life ahead of him. So, rather than jump up and down like some insane
jack-in-the-box, simply kill-file the silly man, and get on with life.
So he's in here taking names for future reference, so he's making notes
on what biz is done in here, well big deal, let him. Let the silly
bastard run around in circles chasing his tail and barking at shadows.
It won't do him any good. He's some navy twat, big deal, when his time
is up, he'll either roll over and play dead like a good dog, or he'll
get posted to some godforsaken place that will welcome him with open
arms.

So, what am I trying to say? How about shut the fuck up? Does that
sound reasonable? I think so. You claim to have worked around the
place, you claim some sort of link with Denver, well, show some of that
professionalism and cut Mitchell out of the equation. Surely you are
able to set a kill-file and exclusion protocol into your system that
will bypass the creature we have been introduced to in such a loud
manner?

>>>>>[Status is up shit creek. That matter we discussed? It turned out
worse than I thought. We killed two of the guys Ploughshare sent to kill
us, so of course now I'm one of the prime suspects for the attack on the
eatery. This person has good media manipulation skills. At least I know
it was me they were after, as well as Redemption.

I don't do spray-and-pray work into roomfuls of civilians, at least not
for the money Ploughshare was paying. Draws too much heat, attracts too
much attention.

Any advice or suggestions welcomed. And I can offer you >>encrypted<<
for a go-to on this Ploughshare. I want him. Badly. I don't have enough
of a rep in Seattle to let someone drek all over it.]<<<<<

see it attempted.

It would have to be done completely in secret so that physical attack to
disrupt the ritual would be kept to a minimum, but I really think it could
work again. It would take years of preparation, I would suspect.

The thing the bothers me the most,of all thing in the world, is the damage
the ritual created. More than a lot of people want to admit to...Dunkelzahn
is one of those that wouldnt admit to the damage it did. I lost family members
to the blood magic worked that day.]<<<<<

My father was the last of the Running Wolves, until I was born: the
rest of the clan died in Abilene, or fighting against the US, or in the
Dance.

Now I'm a federal UCAS agent. Contradictory, huh? And one of the things
we're afraid of is another Ghost Dance. Or, worse, some of the rumours
coming out of Aztlan. When they do that old ritual with the stepped
pyramids, the obsidian knives, and hacking out hearts, I am told that
some *massive* mana is released. And that it is a dark power that works
better for destruction than creation.

Propaganda? Maybe. But I'm scared of it anyway. This is all new stuff,
and it's like the early days of the Manhatten Project must have been.

Nobody really knows what any of this stuff does, do they?]<<<<<
