millitary installation with a tortise!

You see a cybered tortise sitting in the mittle of a 20th century
millitary training field. There are low-ranking soldgiers running back
and forth with couirier packs, which you take to be data packets.

+++++Upload Smart Frame:Reroute Junk Frame
A black hole that you can see a few stars through opens in front of the turtle.
+++++Upload complete.
A black box with 6 tubes (1 labeled "IN", the others "OUT") falls
through.
+++++Repeat last command
1 more falls through and falls in the "IN" tube.
+++++Re-routing to destinations....Complete.
1 copy comes out each of the "OUT" tubes, with their "IN" tubes stuck
to the out tubes.

+++++Alert:IC detected!!!

Some planes appear on the horizon.

A small silvery ball falls in the first router.

The turtle is covered in a thicker layer of chrome. The planes are
quite a bit closer.

A Missile launcher pops out of the back of the tortise.

The planes launch some missiles.

A missile (much bigger than the entire turtle, let alone the launcher)
streaks off twoard a plane,

The missile launcher starts blasting out missiles as fast as it can.

36 small drones pop out of the routers. These immedaetly converge on
the tortise and fire small glwing bullets at the planes.

Sure enough, the planes have dissapered from the sky.

An impressive array of sensor gear replaces the missil launcher.

++++Loading program:Let's see what's in the slave nodes....

A small datajack appears on the head of the turtle. Maenwhile, the
missiles continue to chase their own tails.

The sensor stuff starts whirring, blinking, turning, and some other stuff.

++++Sattelite slave nodes detected

A big sign appears on one of the bunkers. It says, in huge neon
letters:"Sattelite Node"

The turtle ambles over twoard it.

+++++Cut:293 subjective minutes, 12.63 sec realtime
+++++Comment:So I've got a good reality filter.

The turlte is standing inside the bunker. It opens a maintenence
panel, pulls out a wire, and sticks it in the jack.

+++Serching log files for mojave area....297 suspicios occurences found.

+++++Comment:I'm suprised it took them that long. I left smart frames
all over the place.

A guy wearing a very impressive suit of armor bashes the door down,
and promptly takes several missiles and a crane in the chest.

+++++Comment:I forgot to take out the relocate utility.

The guy goes flying off over the horizon.

+++++Comment:I'm still puzzling over why it worked on him.

The turtle ambles off out the door, down the field, through the rain
of mortar fire, and back to the group of routers and the portal.

+++++Uploading Smart Frame:Let's take down the system!

Some things come out of the other end of the routers that look like
large chrome ants. THese proceed to march accross the field twoard the
buildings. One passes clos to the veiwpoint, and you can see a seargents insignia painted
on it.

+++++Comment:Army ants.

The turtle jumps through the portal, which closes up behind it.

As you can see, he seems to be hiding in that base. I don't know if
he's gonna be there when we gewt to him, but we aoughta get a lotta
clues.
