>>>>>[Solitaire -- the computer tests for the Rites of Ascension are on
a self-contained system. No matrix-originated penetration of said
system is possible during testing. As well, he already .is. of Royal
level -- that's where the 'Prince' comes from, neh? However, he's now
guaranteed a seat on the Council of Princes (not the Ruling Council,
that's something different) for life, no matter what rank in TT he is.
He could be a commoner for all they'll care (not that that's likely to
happen) and he'll be able to walk in and sit down at the Council.

Mmmmm...... besides, even if it .was. linked in, I wouldn't give two
demi-stads for your survival, flatline-resistant or not. You got eleven
strikes against you in ripping out the Corp Court records -- the Tir
systems are notorious for insisting upon locating their prey, and then
sending a mage through astral to find your fleshbod. Not much a
jacked-in decker can do against a manifesting fire elemental.

Unless you have friends.

Oh, yeah, Drake, that reminds me. You CAN trace somebody's satlink.
But then, you're working on your own time, eh? What're your superiors
saying about having effectively no proof at .all.? Well, here's a few
presents.
