* Border tensions continue between the Pueblo Nation and Aztlan, and it
nearly cost the lives of 22 civilians in a chartered jet today.
According the the plane's "black box", the pilot had dropped to an
altitude of 8000 feet to avoid some turbulence above. Shortly after
doing so, Aztlan forces fired an AVM at the plane, which caused severe
damage to the left wing, and minor injuries to the passengers. The
engine and fuel tanks remained intact, and the plane managed to make
an emergency landing at a nearby Pueblo Airfield east of Roswell. The
Aztlan government claims that those responsible were acting on their
own initiative, and had no orders to fire on aircraft approaching the
border. Carlos Estephan, Chairman of the Pueblo Corporate Council
Board of Directors says that further attacks will not be tolerated,
and has officially requested that the Aztlan government pay
reparations to the passengers, crew, and owner of the aircraft.

* The UCAS Battleship Ontario and it's escorts continue training
maneuvers off the coast of Tir na nOg. They were joined today by the
HMS Prince Valiant, Great Britain's newly commissioned nuclear-powered
carrier, which has suffered delays due to technical difficulties.
Admiral Cushing of the UCAS Navy mentioned that Tir na nOg was also
scheduled to take part in the maneuvers, but has recently withdrawn
their cooperation and forces. "It's a crying shame," says Cushing,
"that the Tir just won't play ball with anyone these days."

* Gaeatronics stock closes stronger after the release of the third
quarter earnings statement.

* Aztechnology's Computer Hardware division shows poor prospects after
initial ship-out of their new Cyberterminals reaveals faulty MPCP
chips. Analysts expect the effect on consumers to be minimal, due to
the subsequent release of a nearly identical product by Mitsuhama
Computer Technologies at a price point over $100 below Aztechnology's
original SRP.

* Aztechnology's Chemical Division looks weaker after the closure of
several plants in CFS. Aztechnology has targeted Redstone Metals for
aquisition, with intent to convert the outdated chemical plants into
more modern smelting and milling operations.

* Aztechnology stock closed lower today, as a result of the above
setbacks, but is expected to climb to it's former price of $176 per
share within the next trading week.

* The future of Fuchi's Chemical division looks bright, owing to Junior
VP Martin Kettner's foresight in ramping up production of Dikote(tm),
which has been in great demand lately in both heavy industry and in
various independent research labs across North America.

* Snohomish residents in the Brier district claim Renraku is
contributing to pollution in the area. Citizens show as evidence
several 50 gallon drums with Renraku's logo leaking chemicals into the
storm drains behind a boarded up storefront next to the Brier Hotel.
Renraku has officially claimed that the Megacorp has no operations in
that area, and is not involved in any way with the incident. The
entire block has been cordoned off by Lone Star until the chemicals
can be identified and are cleaned up in safe manner per instructions
from the Snohomish City Council.

* Mitsuhama aquired stock in Fichetti Firearms, shortly before
purchasing a large quantity of firearms for their expanding security
forces. Details of the purchase have not been released, but it is
rumored that the weapons are a close match to the H&K MP5-TX
submachineguns. Mitsuhama has refused to comment on their reasons for
reissuing arms to their security forces.
