Ma'am, we've completed the stand-down of our military assets as the Corp
Court ordered us to. Preliminary recon indicates that Sheppard-Intrepid
is nearing completion of standing down as well. It appears that our
conversation with MCT worked as we had planned.
"Excellent news, John. What else has been happening?"
Ares and Shiawase are looking toward SI as your good Prince told them
to. He has excellent credibility with them. Considering his background,
I should not be surprised.
"(laugh) No, you shouldn't be."
Our other assets have been mobilized, and we are beginning to gain
results as well. Several SI products will produce brillant and
high-profile failures within a few days, if all goes well. All the
current assets involved are totally deniable as well.
"And the planting operations regarding the AM facility?"
With the new hyperdeck operational, and the deckers not suffering
aneurisms every 15 minutes now(it's up to 30 at this code revision), we
have been able to plant several interesting items, such as evidence that,
while Maxim owned the facility up to a month ago, SI purchased it.
Naturally, a hard-core search will turn up fallacies, as any plant this
quickely will miss details, with the blinding stopping in....7.3 hours,
the facility will look to every recon mission to be SI, not Maxim, owned
and operated. Again, with enough time and effort, our deception will be
discoverd, but by that time it shouldn't matter anymore.
"I suppose that is the best we can hope for. Very well. It's hardly
worth losing sleep over something we can no longer directly control.
However, Sheppard-Intrepid is something we can control. As is Pulp
Fiction, who- or what-ever they are. And your target?"
I've not recieved a new update within the past 4 hours, but last I heard,
they were in pursuit and had nearly taken him twice. The others, the duo
Righteous and Dana, have been tracked to Haven. They are very safe, but
cannot leave without becoming instant targets.
We also believe that another duo has been implanted into the Seattle
shadows, but we have limited information on this particular unit.
"If you can capture a full duo, do so. I'm sure our thaumaturgical
researchers would love to get a look at thier conditioning to see if it
can be reversed or duplicated. However, if you cannot, destroy them."
Of course, ma'am. Anything else?
"Have a full corporate profile, including all buisness we've ever done
with Sheppard-Intrepid, on my desk when I wake up in the morning.
Assets, subsidiaries, products, services, a full corporate profile with
everything, and I mean _everything_, in it."
