1) Are you certain they did this?
2) If they did, I am sure they have a good reason for keeping it quiet.
However, I won't be convinced they are guilty of this offense until I see
some conclusive evidence.

As far as Rachel's burning case of revenge goes, she can jump off a bridge.
I answer to my commanding officers and UCAS law. As far as I am aware, I
didn't break any laws so I have absolutely nothing to hide. And I have yet
to see any proof that they are the guilty parties. I may change my opinion
after I see some proof, but frankly, I would still trust Midnight's
judgement over Rachel's.

I am sorry that you and your band are caught in the middle of this, Mark,
but there is nothing at the moment I can do to help you out one way or
another.

Hopefully, we will know more soon. Either way, you and I both have our
full-time jobs to contend with. ]<<<<<

With the way Rachel is acting, I advise you to have all have access to legal attorneys.
Rachel is assuming that we are all guilty and has gotten LSS and the FBI involved. (The
latter has already had me answering some very interesting questions.)

Second, the FBI (and LSS) has enough evidence to probably get a jury to convict Midnight
and Pestilence at this moment. Midnight and Pestilence might have plans if it comes down
to a trial, but I do not have a solid prediction on how those plans would play out in (and
around) a courtroom.

And lastly, my opinion on all this: Midnight and Pestilence have reasons on why they did
what they did. They aren't the type to act without considering all the possibilities and
consequences. At least I hope they aren't, because I've been suspended and placed under
investigation for "my role" in this affair. Based on past actions of Midnight
(that I know of), it is my estimation that the reason we have been kept in the dark he was
expecting Rachel to react the way she did. As such, with us out of the loop, we have less
to get in trouble for.

Not that being in the dark makes this any easier to deal with this. ]<<<<<

As far as what Midnight may or may not have done, I trust him with my life,
so why not trust him to do the right thing with Nikki? I figure Pestilence
is loyal to memory of what Death was -- so that should be worth something,
eh? Besides, wasn't it you and Scourge who dragged Midnight into this ...
and if so, what makes it so now you cannot trust their judgement? (And here
I was thinking I would lack for ????????s)

Blindness, ignorance, innocence all are a blessing. Treasure them. Whoever
said knowledge was a gift deserves a swift kick to the head followed by a
burst to the gut. I'll gladly supply the bullets even.

At least you can live your (whatever passes for) "normal" life ... I feel
like I'm stuck here in no man's land waiting for the other shoe to fall.
GOD DAMN!! This place is unnerving! How people become immune to this, is
