listen, and learn.
+++++ Begin Transmission:
The screen flashes white for a moment as a moderate sized room
comes instantly into focus. A large "building" takes up a major portion
of one side of the room(to those who would know it looks to be a rather
large medicine lodge). Various cages, holding all sorts of species of
spiders, are scattered throughout the room all are open as the spiders
are crawling in and out of them. On another side of the room various test
tubes, beakers, and such lie bubbling on a table. A tall thin elf sits
at a table in the center of the room pouring over what looks like a
large, leather bound book. He coninually goes back and forth between the
book and a large computer next to him.
The image continues for a moment when suddenly the elf stands and
stretches for a moment. Rubbing his eyes he begins to pace for a few
moments before sitting back down. A look of astonishment passes over his
face as he quickly starts thumbing through pages of the book. He stops
and a particular page and begins to read. A large smile passes over his
face and he begins to laugh.
For some reason your eyes are drawn to the lone window in the room
that suddenly bursts open on its own accord the window shattering. The elf
jumps up from his seat startled, and a look of fear passes over his
face. The elf's eyes begin darting around the room as the spiders begin
to scatter. A large table in the room explodes in the eruption of a
fireball. Three armoured figures fade into exsistence at various points
in the room.(Again thos who would know notice the figures are wearing
Heavy Military-Grade Combat Armour with few to no distinguishing marks)
The elf dives for one of the open cages, forcing his hand inside.
Two of the figures walk toward the open tome upon the table and
quickly grab it and begin to systematically destroy all electronic
equipment on the table. The third figure walks slowly over to the prone
figure of the elf who's back is turned to the camera. The elf turns as a
visible aura of blue flame springs into exsistence around him. White
teeth appear as the elf smiles. His eyes glow with the power that
surrounds him as a piercing scream rips through the room. The figure
coming towrds the elf suddenly explodes in a bright flash of white
light. As the elf turns to face he other two figures who are just
finishing their destruction. The smile on the elfs face suddenly turns
to a frown as you notice a single drop of sweat appear on his brow.
The look of intense concentration on the elf's face suddenly
breaks and turns to a look of utter terror and disbelief as he throws a
small jade bracelet through the air and aginst a wall. As teh bracelet
hits the wall it explodes into a fire bomb that quickly consumes that
half of the room. The two remaining figures turn toward the open window
and jump back through carrying the tome with them.
The elf looks around the room tears streaming down his eyes as spiders
scramble to escape. The flames consume the rest of the room blocking off
all chance of escape. The elf looks at the wall of flames and then begins to
chant. His features slowly merge and change into that of a spider and
then back to his own, and his body shakes as if hit by a sledge hammer.
HIs body collapses and he slowly begins to crawl towards the open window beyond
the wall off flames. As he approaches the wall of flame he appears
unaffected, and reaches the window safely, and crawls out.
The picture turns to a black screen

That was the night that I almost died. I was working on deciphering that
tome when the events you just witnessed happened. If anyone knows any
imformation please contact me. I must find that tome. I currently am
devoid of extraneous funds, but I am willing to sell my services as an
experienced Shaman and researcher in exchange for any information in
regards to the above events or Nuyen.]>>>>>
