there that could be called "runs", and on some of these, expending many more
than nine rounds of ammunition is not only expected, but required if the
objective is to be met. Any reasonable automatic weapon can discharge more
ammunition than that in a single bout of autofire, and certain classes of
weapons exist whose _minimum_ burst length is as much as double your figure.
Now, granted that the larger the weapon, the more conspicuous it tends to be,
but on "runs" where armed conflict is necessary or even deemed likely, it
seems that response, scaled to threat, is in order. Violence can be a very
valid way of solving problems, though we should not use it without due
cause. =) ]<<<<<
