Val(entine): Ok, Bruce, I need to tell you something.
LD: Uh oh..... It's about Uncle Alex, isn't it?
Val: yes, he has done some things in his past that he didn't want to do, or
things that he shouldn't have done, and now the government wants to
put him in jail for them. And because of what he is they will be much
harder on him than they normally would. Do you understand?
LD: You mean because he has fangs and only goes out at night...?
Val: Yes, I do mean that, Bruce. Do you understand that Alex still loves you
and wishes he was with you now, Bruce?
LD: Ya, I know that. I wish I wasn't such a kid, Val. I might be able to
help Uncle Nex get him back. That's why Uncle Nex and Aunt Lissa are
going to New York, isn't it?
Val: Possibly, Bruce, but I won't get your hopes up by saying it's so, I'm
afraid. Is that ok?
LD: Sure, Val. And Uncle Nex is what is called a phys ad, isn't he? A guy
who has Power and uses it to improve his body. That is right, isn't it?Val: Yes
it is. And how did you figure this out, Bruce? You are correct.
LD: Well, I looked at him once and he looked kinda fuzzy, with his arm gone
and all kinda ugly green splotches all over him. ICK! Does this mean
I'm a phys ad like Uncle Nex, Val?
Well, you get the idea. Looks like he's got you pegged, Nex. He's even going
around here ACTING like you now. Scary that there may be TWO of THE Nexus in
the near future, but I plan on pushing Bruce into a little LESS dangerous
field, if you don't mind. But he does have a mind of his own, and I fear that
the moment he looked at you, his future was set for life. Oh, what convoluted
