she took off to Chicago(via public airline, surprise surprise), so I get the
dubious honor.
We all filed back and got Pheonix to take away thier dead and Wizard's body,
and then we tried to sit back and relax as well as get the party started again.
It really didn't work, until a black pickup truck drove up outside. A tall
elf got out of the driver's side, and then a black hellhound leaped out of the
back. And Roxey took off, got tackled by the hound, and then leaped up and
kissed the guy.
"NEX!!!!!!!!!"
Yep, THE Nexus came back from the tour for a little bit, just to enjoy our
little party. And he didn't even tell us, the fragger. And the two of them
cam walking up to us, arm in arm(with Roxey being the taller of the two). It
was him that kicked the party off again, with his comment "Wha' the FRAG
happened? Did I miss all the fun again?" Everybody started talkin at the same
time, and we meandered into the door, carrying Collussus(and he is HEAVY).
Using his deck, Collussus was able to attend the rest of the party virtually
along with Quickling, and he apologized profusely for rippin out the armored
glass window and said that he'd get it replaced ASAP. Harly was amused.
Basically, we just partied, drank a LOT more booze, Nex and Roxey disappeared
upstairs for the rest of the night(and most of the next day until Nex had to
go back on tour) and AJ opened his gifts. Moriarity sent him a new sneak suit,
Diana got him a new lab coat for his bodyshop, Valentine gave him a souvineer
from TNO(some kind of new toy...looked like a sniper rifle, but I'n not sure),
and the rest I was too drunk myself to remember. When I woke up, the party
was over and we were cleaning up the mess.
All in all, it wasn't anywhere near as bad as the last party, but still a
little interesting and depressing.]<<<<<
