ya scan. We wen't UnderGround and found out some much needed info. It seems
we're lucky - The stockpile of arms and OverDrive production facilities are not
in the official Troll/Ork controlled underground. The Coyotes are exploiting
the Old Seattle tunnel networks west of the The Boiler section of the UnderGrou
nd. So we don't have to worry about Ork/Troll guards covering the Coyotes asses
. Still you know how The Council feels about people bringing in weapons. We're
going to have to use a secret access tunnel that my friend Thunder will open
for us - it will allow us to bypass official UnderGround entry points (i.e.
checkpoints). We'll meet at the secret access {DATA ENCRYPT _$XIR.*^}.
NightShade and I didn't go exploring toofar into the Coyotes territory - but we
did get a map from LoneStar Records. The tunnels are half-full of water, and we
spotted several "Nasty" beasties doing watch. I hate to overexagerate the
monstrocity of these things . . . but it can't really be done. Also, we'll need
bypass electronics to get past their rather heavy sensor precations.
Remember how bothered I was about how easily we captured Rojo, how he seemed
like just a regular, although especially vicious, streetpunk. We couldn't
figure out how such a stupid animal could organize, train, lead, such a well
thought out action? Well, I'm afraid we got our answer. The Coyotes don't even
seem to have noticed that their "Leader" is gone - everything is still working
smoothly down there --- somebody is still giving orders -- and whoever it is
really scares the !?$#@! out of the gang. Now we know Rojo wasn't a mage - and
yet they have magic beasties as guards. Milhaus tells us we're dealing with
some major bad magic after confronting the THING and the associated mage at our
raid. I think the real power/leader is whoever was passing out power focuses
like Christmas presents. The Coyotes are now totally in the hands of this
person. We will have to deal with him - so you mages get prepared. On other
fronts, all us muscleboyz should be ready for a Hit-and-Cover action, I'm talk-
ing MAX FORCE strike. So get out ole' betsy and start polishing.
