>>>>>[ Well, 'Stalker, I guess that my cue to pick up on... Anyway after
myself and the Nightstalker emerged into the hallway, it was obvious that
those guards were bearing down on us thick and fast. I motioned him
through a doorway on the opposite side of the hall, a bit behind me and
took on my best don't frag with me pose, right in the middle of the
hallway, with Predator aimed down the hall and a flash grenade concealed
in my left fist.

As soon a the guard group rounded the corner the first one spun his rifle
in my direction, one shot and the thought was wiped completely from his
brain, as the next rounded, unable to pull up, he looked up, saw me,
as he considered what to do, I calmly told him that if he so much as
sneezed, I'd drill him. Anyway he started blabbing about how I'd never
get away with this and so on, obviously hoping to distract me, I mean
they honestly thought that I wasn't aware of three guys that were
trying to sneak up behind me.

At Nightstalker's whistle I dropped the flash a fired, he must of
really surprised those drekheads when he burst out Katana slashing
right in the middle of them. Relying on Nightstalker to cover my back I
drew my monowhip and charge down towards the two fallen bodies, just as I
suspected, when I was about half way another three showed their faces
from around the corner taking aim at me. The first one fell to twin
Predator, shot's unfortunately the other two managed to open up on me as
I went into a dive roll.

One group of bullets flew harmlessly above me, unfortunately several of
the other group slammed into my side, drek I hate getting shot, luckily
my armour went a long way to stopping the penetration. I was hurt but I
was also amongst them, and a couple of slashes and a dodge later I was
about to check for more when I heard Nightstalker's shriek.

Spinning around I saw Nightstalker furiously defending himself against
the onslaught of the Shapeshifter, from where I was I could see that his
lower right arm had been slashed, and he was using his katana two handed.
The three corp guards were arrayed around the battle, but two more were
up the other end, aiming their assault rifles, however the melee was two
quick, they couldn't get a clear shot, at Nightstalker or me, but it
didn't appear to matter, Nightstalker was losing.

Drek, I realised I'd dropped my Predator when I was hit, grabbing a rifle
off the dead guard I dropped prone and slid the selector to single shots,
knowing that the guards would open fire at the first opportunity I had to
take them out first, and there wasn't much time. Well I'm not called
SpotOn for nothing, so it appeared that it was again time to prove it,
taking careful aim, I fired two shots, one was perfect, the guard went
down a bullet between his eyes, but the second guy moved, my shot flew
wide, then he opened fire.

A hail of fire erupted down the hallway, both Nightstalker and the
Shapeshifter were hit, luckily though the shifter took the brunt of the
fire, and fell back, badly wounded, as I let go my third shot I felt a
projectile enter my arm, but the shot flew true, taking the guard in the
gut, messy and inaccurate, but it did the job, the guard fell, and the
fire stopped.

Nightstalker, while wounded, took the advantage while he had it and lept
onto the shapeshifter, seconds later it was all over, I.B.A. had been
avenged, and a few people could sleep easier at night. ]<<<<<
