| Subject: | The Intrepid has arrived |

sighted anchored in a port on "Omega Island". I have the satelite pictures
and they indicate three things of general interst:
1) There is A LOT of air activity on both the Intrepid and at an
island-based airport. I counted at least 100 cargo aircraft and 25 heavy
choppers. The intrepid also has on it's deck 12 fighters, with 2 on
stand-by and 4 on five-minute stand-by.
2) There are eight large ocean going transport ships enroute to the island.
No way to tell what's in them, but these things are BIG.
3) They are in the process of building a new launching tower. A _BIG_
tower. At least three times the size of any of they towers on the island.
Pictures show hundreds of people and vehicles working on the project around
the clock.
In other news, the UN has voted on Omega's request for national status and
it has been approved. According to their charter, they now have the right
to establish a military to protect their airspace and their 15 mile
territorial waters.
I just can't figure out what Tirandor wants with this company. He's never
really shown much of an interest in space and there isn't much of a way to
