"This is Lowella Doni reporting for DDN from the scene of an explosion at
Dono's SimArcade, down on Hudson Street. According to eyewitness
report, eight minutes ago the SimArcade detonated in a massive fireball,
spewing glass and debris into a early evening crowd. Firefighters have
not yet arrived on the scene, and all Lonestar officers are being kept
out of the area.

"The organization known as The Nation has made a strong showing at this
location, and this reporter's suspicion is that the activity is in
retaliation against certain actions the Nation is suspected of directing
towards the gang known as 'Bouncing Demons', who habitat near UCAS 35
East. But currently, this is the scene at Dono's...."

<<Camera break from Lowella Doni, a rather attractive negro female in
<<her mid- to late-twenties, reacquire on a shattered and burning
<<storefront, several bodies visible through the heat and smoke both in
<<and outside the storefront. A few rest across the street, holding pads
<<and hands to wounded parts of their bodies -- most notably faces.
<<The camera appears to be shooting from a decent distance, perhaps
<<forty meters away.

"There is some rudimentary first aid assistance going on, but no major
healing of any type. None of The Nation's so-called 'prophets' have
made any appearance....."

<<Camera picks up the sound of another explosion, and, far off down the
<<street, a distance-small firecloud rising into the air.

"My god.... Manny, did you catch that? Ladies and gentlemen, it would
appear that another incident has occured furthur down Hudson. It is
unsure whether or not these two incidents are link-"

<<The sound of whirring intercedes into the audio line, and a small
<<woman, perhaps 5'4", steps out of an alley two stores down from Dono's.
<<The weapon the figure is currently holding is a minigun of some variety;
<<momentarily, the hissing roar of the firearm bursts into the scene,
<<lipping fire at the crowd.

"Manny! Drek! An unnknown assailant, negro female approximately
mid-twenties, has opened fire upon the crowd outside of Dono's!

<<The bullets walk along the storefront, powering into several glass
<<windows and shattering them beneath their hypervelocitied impact;
<<several members of The Nation turn, their own guns spitting steel-
<<jacketed death at the intruder. The bullets spark off of some sort of
<<shield in front of the woman, and those wearing colors of The Nation
<<lurch under the impact of the minigun's missles.

<<A man's voice comes in: "Lowella, get drekkin' .down.!! Ass on turf,
<<girl!"

"Manny, you drekhead, I'm trying! Folks, this may seem incredible, but
only those showing Nation colors are being hit. This has .got. to be a
display of SmartGun circuitry. The wielder of the machinegun is being
very specific, very fast, and very accurate...."

<<The minigun ceases firing, then stops spinning altogether. From the
<<corner of the camera angle comes movement. Lowella Doni has risen, and
<<is moving towards the assailant at a trot, calling out to gain the
<<woman's attention.
