For those o' you who don't really know who I am...I'm Afrique Wylde, recordin'
artiste, extraodinaire...an' starlette of all those NASTY lil' chips ya don't
let yer lady-luvs know ya `ave! => So nice of THE Nexus & Co., givin' me th'
chance ta get ta meet some o' ya, las' evenin'! Thank-ya, luv! *kiss, kiss*
It turned out ta be a VERY in`trestin' night, ta say th' very least! I didn't
know too many of ya there, though. Lance & I go _way_ back! But, we're JUST
FRIENDS...fer all ya "rumor mongerers", ou' there! DON'T believe ev`rything ya
hear on th' ol' trid, k? :) An', I had only known Mirage (WHAT a BABE! *giggle*)for a few
hours...he's SUCH a _gentleman_, ladies! But, then, tha's typical,
fer MOST of th' blokes from th' UK! Guess I've jus' gotten so used ta th' way
you American men are...but, HEY...you boys are A`RIGHT, wi' ME! ;) An', I had
jus' met Streetwolf, too. Laddie, ya say yer NEX' cousin? NAAHHH! Lad's too
fraggin' QUIET, ta be related ta THE Nex! => But, he's kinda'...sweet...once ya
ken get `im ta talk. An', that Lady Siam....WHAT a CHARMER! I MUST admit...I
truly liked her STYLE! An' th' TAIL, luv! A truly KICKY ACCESSORIE! Where DID
ya get yer body-work done, dear? I've always fancied myself as a cute lil'
Persian...or, m`be a Calico?! Huhmmm...jus' a THOUGHT! :) I should put ya in
touch wi' my agent, luv! He would jus' EAT THA' LOOK OF YOURS _UP_! I ev`n
caught LANCE eyein' ya up! *grin* Don't be s`prised, if he asks ya ta do his
next chip, wi' `im! Now, Slash, Roxey, Buzz, Shadow, Dragon & Bloodtooth, I'd
met them all on tour, along wi' sweet lil' Nex, an' th' rest of his band! Ya
know, if Buzz keeps at it...he jus' might have `imself a nice ol' voice, there!
An', as far as Nex & BloodRunn's potential goes...let's jus' say "Thru th'
fraggin' ROOF, Honey!" They've got a real nice, "retro-metal" sound, an'
solid
instrumentation. PLUS, add in TONS of _sex appeal_! An', ya've got a STELLAR
combination! But, oh HELL! I'm jus' lettin' my enthusiasm run away wi' me!
SORRY! Now, where was I? Oh, yeah...the PARTY! K?! *giggle* Things were goin'
really great. It was SO nice, not `avin' ta `ob-nob wi' ev`ryone! Not `avin' tado any
ROYAL _KISSIN' UP_! Ya Shadowfolks REALLY know how ta relax! Things jus'
got a lil' hairy there, fer a while, though. I wonder what's been goin' on,
betwix Nex & Th' Crew! I thought they were all really tight terms! Huhm? An'
as fer Nex & Roxey...well, there was a pair of breakin' hearts, if ev`r I've
seen `em! Looks like they jus' might've gotten things back on track, though!
`course, how could ANY woman've resisted `im, after that rendition of th' ol'
KISS tune, "Ev`ry Time I Look At You"!? Ol' girl woulda' had ta `ave been
plainLOOPEY, ta `ve turned th' boy away, after THAT! HEART-WRENCHIN'! So, they get
things cooled down, a bit, I guess. Now, it's understandable how, in alla' th'
excitement which ensued, Slash & Diana coulda' fergotten Nex' lil'
"announcement....so, fer th' benefit o' alla' ya who WEREN'T there: I am happy to
announce
that THE Nexus(a.k.a. Kerran Eldritch-O'Connor, fer benefit o' th' public) &
BloodRunn shall be cuttin' their FIRST FULL-LENGTH RECORDIN', on th' Arista-
Virgin-KyleTech label, beginning th' end o' this month! It will also be my
pleasure to be appearin', on this recording, wi' them! A 6-week, 38-city tour
has also been (tentatively) scheduled to begin March 1st! More details, as they
come up, chummers! Now..after this announcement, that was when things started
gettin' _strange_. Seems that drink ol' Nexey-boy was raisin' in a toast was a
nasty lil' HYPER-NEURO-STUN-DMSO COCKTAIL! NO ONE has a fraggin' CLUE as ta who,`r WHY
anyone'd be slippin' that drek ta th' poor boy! Roxey & Styx didn't want
ta upset anyone, so they jus' sorta' spirited `im away, an' Streetwolf followed.I gotta
look at th' poor guy, as they drug `im past...an' he looked like HELL!
Looks like it was hurtin' him, ta e`en be TOUCHED! From what Slash told me,
later on, Nex `as been nailed wi' Hyper so many times, it REALLY frags his
system up! Whoever th' slitch was, though, he musta' got away! No one SAW any
thin'...an', OBVIOUSLY, no one came forward, to ADMIT ta havin' done it!
*`scuseme...YES...I'M th' one who slipped mind-fraggin' chemicals to th' border-line
psycho samurai/assassin, wi' th' tendancy ta go COMPLETELY ballistic, at a
glance! Why, THANK YOU! We've been LOOKIN' fer YOU!...RRRIIIPPP!* Yes, I can
see it NOW! *smirk* It's kinda'...spooky...actually! I wonder what it must be
like, havin' some unknown entity huntin' ya down...stalkin' ya...watchin' yer
ev`ry move...for what reason? Gaia only knows! *shudder* It's SO excitin'!
Well, I guess Styx & Roxey jus' started dumpin' anti-toxins down Nex' throat,
till he was able ta rest reasonably comfortably, an' Styx rejoined th' party,
ta keep an eye out, while Roxey got Nex ta sleep. All those neat lil'
explosions, though, musta' woke `im up, `cause, he came flyin' down th' stairs,
hell-bent-fer-leather *ooouuh...GRIN*, Pred Mark II in his hand, an' was REAL
disappointed ta find most`ve th fun already over! Still, I liked his lil' remarkta Raven,
'bout playin' volleyball wi' th' she-vamps head! Leave it ta Nex, ta
find th' tension-breaker! *sigh* Poor Coffin! He went TOTALLY WHITE, when Nex
picked `im up, by th' scruff a' th' neck, no less(!) an' drug 'im of, fer
"interrogation"! AMAZIN`LY, th' lad left th' slitch in one piece! Guess Coffin
should count `is blessin's, huh? All in all, though...th' party was pretty
WIZ! An' looks like Nex made a new friend...Lil' Dragon! I STILL can't believe
that kid WHIPPED `im! *snicker* Looks like their keepin' score, too! So,
expect INNUMERABLE re-matches! I think they'll be good fer each other, though!
Nex is th' quintessential "big brother"...an' th' kid needs somebody ta tag
along wi'....this should prove ta be INT`RESTIN'! well, gotta run, fer now,
folks! I REALLY hope ta be postin' to ya, sometime again, in th' near future!
