This was... not unexpected. Bad for me. Good for Vincenzo and the
people there. They'll do well out of this.

Me? I land on my feet. Always have, always will.

The helicopter escape was not planned, it was a friend with an
overdeveloped sense of the dramatic. Black helicopters blaring Holst's
"Mars" and firing Vanquishers... well, they make good taxicabs when
you're out of ideas and boltholes.


I've still got the data. Meeting could be tricky, I'm not even in the UCAS at
the moment. I could e-mail a copy, or FedEx you the chip, or you could
meet me in the Sioux sector of Denver which is where I am now, or we
could negotiate some rendezvous further on from here. Right now, I'm
running and I figure if I don't know where I'm going then neither will
anyone else.

Since I don't have a large pool of decker support, I would prefer not to do
this via the matrix. While it isn't exactly conveinent, and time is crucial
to both of us, I can manage to get to Denver and even into the Sioux
territory without too much difficulty.

If I remember correctly, >>bar<< is a fairly safe place to meet people at.
Assuming no delays in travel arrangments, I'll try to be there at >>time<<.
If you run into a complication, let me know and we will try something
