a veritable plethora of vampires on the B.B.S.? I know not whe'er they are
aware of the perils presented when a Creature of the Night publicly identifies
itself. There are groups who take a very dim view of those who prey on humans
for sustenance, such as the Jesuits, and various other religious groups.
And believe me, they possess a rather singular tendency to shoot first and
inquire later. They also are quite acquainted with the weakness of HMHVV
individuals, and are not at all reticent to employ this information. Now, this
is NOT a threat...I am not thus afflicted with such limited perceptions--I am
but a researcher--my purpose is merely to appraise you as to these facts.

They are termed as Nosferatu (taxonomy: Sanguisuga europa caecus) and are the

By all accounts, they are significantly more powerful than "regular" vampyr.
Coupled with the powers other vampires already enjoy, they possess the powers

expanded upon than is observed in vampires. Most important to all HMHVV
infected individuals is their significantly lower requirements for blood and
feeding.
It is true that to drink of their blood would engender their particular version
of HMHVV, and hence their additional powers. However, Nosferatu exhibit
decidedly antisocial natures, and are quite few in number. In line with this,
they usually jealously guard their superiority of others, and hence ar quite
unwilling to produce more of their own kind, prefering their solitary

Well, IN THEORY such a process is possible. Concievably, there is another
element or plane, termed as Void. Following this logic, were one located near
the periphery of the Terran atmosphere, conjuring of such entities may be
feasible.
IN PRACTICE, however, (and there always seem to be a gulf, of varying
proportions, betwixt these two) this proves a considerably more challenging
endeavor. Although rumours do not exactly abound of attempts, I have heard of
a few. However, the claims as to the success of such undertakings should be
taken with a Quark, in my opinion. Ne'er have I recieved word of an operation
which garnered any desireable results. In fact, many who attempted were
subjected to the decidedly unpleasant effects of being of such proximity to the
Void.
Now, setting aside the technical difficulties of performing the task, and
engaging in considerable benefit of doubt in that we shall proceed from the
assumption that the task was enacted properly, their probable appearance is
equally obfuscated. They may or may not "show up". Personally, I am rather
inclined to believe they would appear as vacuous holes in Astral Space, empty
blackness as opposed to glowing. ]<<<<<
