He's a little paranoid right now, so we'd rather not give you the opportunity
to deduce his location immediately.
Well, As his last report indicated, William was one VERY hyped up little boy.
I think ya'll figured it out when he first appeared, what with all that slack
about drifting in and out of reality and the Matrix, and scanning through non-
cyberdeck devices like medscanners and terminal screens. His brain was just
wired to pick up on those signals, whatever their source.
Well, as we guessed, Mathias was a modulator. The thumb was sort of an antenna;
by pressing it against wherever he got his signals from, it streamlined the
signals and let him concentrate on decking. It was, I imagine, kinda like those
bogus deckers you see in the trid who deck "naked".]<<<<<
