>>>>>[ Splut claims that Yoshida is clean, but I can't rule out the
possibility that they're not. Magna was doing AI research, but I don't know
how far they got since the tapeworm nailed all the AI files. The only evidence
would be the actual AI itself, and if it really exists you can bet Yoshida
wants it. Also, the Dragon's Den has expressed an interest in buying up the
pieces of MagnaTech that Yoshida is putting up for sale. I think that
Tirandor wants to keep MagnaTech in one piece until he gets what he wants
from it. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Just for your information Crossfire, Tommy Harada is a VatJob.
(meaning
he's loaded with more bioware than most people have ever seen in their lives)
He used to work for the New York Yakuza (and possibly the military too) and
somehow got mixed up with MagnaTech when Dragon's Den tried to takeover Magna
Tech. Apparently Magna hired him to help stop the takeover, but when Yoshida
showed up during that fateful meeting on the Intrepid and started buying up
Magna stock, he intentionally botched the job and faked getting killed so he
could go rogue on the Yakuza. We've heard rumors that he didn't exist until
a few years ago, and may have been a genetically engineered creation, probably
some kind of super-soldier project. As you can see from Nightstalker's run in
with him, he is as deadly as his reputation. He's not cybered, but he's the
best at what he does anyway. ]<<<<<

announced that they were responsible for blowing up the MagnaTech building
back in November. It sounds like a load of bull to me, I've never heard of
these guys! ]<<<<<

looking to make a name. These guys couldn't plant flowers let alone a bomb!
The Green Jihad is just trying to ride on the deeds of someone who really
pulled off something big! They'll probably make a bomb threat on some other
big corp in the next few days and I'll bet you that it'll just be a scare with
no actual bomb involved. ]<<<<<

>>>>>[ Well what a wonderful mess happens while I'm away. After
suggestion
from Lister I decided to do some checking on Fuchi U.K.. It was harder
than I expected trying to get in, but they never did notice. Project
Red Dwarf by official accounts is now back to where it was 5 months ago.
The project that Highlander was on is under Project Red Dwarf now. No
one whose names I recognize are on the project. The main memory for
the project is kept on an off-line executive computer, so it is unreachable
unless it is connected some other time. There is no mention in the files
of any hostilities versus Yoshida or his companies, they sem to have even
gotten over the fact that they can not have the GNU programs as theirs.
The guys should be back soon from the wilderness, they just entered the
plex a little while ago.]<<<<<
