>>>>>[ I believe, Herr Conquest, that you experienced what is commonly
refered
to as 'astral projection' in the magical community. Your life essence, perhaps
Soul, departed from your body. Your actions and movements were then dictated
by your thoughts. From astral space you see the 'shadows' of living beings and
other constructs. I would draw your attention to the fact that magically-
active individuals are obviously distinct from 'mundanes' when viewing them via
the astral plane. Despite how alien it may seem at the onset, it is, of
course, nothing that need concern you overly--save perhaps venturing out of
your body for more than 6 hours or so. [ One metaphor used to describe this is
SCUBA: You possess an air supply for a limited amount of time, should you fail
to return to the surface before this supply is exhausted, you shall expire. ]
The conclusions you have drawn thus far as to its nature are accurate;
astral space can be very easily considered an alternate, even if parallel,
plane of existence. As far as the shamanistic aspect goes, I am not the one
with which you should talk. I am a hermetic, and obviously my perceptions and
viewpoints on that matter would differ significantly from those of a member of
the shamanic school of magical thought. ]<<<<<

did
you get in? ]<<<<<

show
you an excerpt sometime. ]<<<<<
