keeps her tentacles out of this system: if she got her "hands" on some of the
info posted here, even the encrpted stuff, she might gain a serious tactical
advantage (I mean besides the one she has already).
Does anyone get the idea that this AI has exceded her design parameters?
Do we really think Howe is so ambitious to try and gain control of the entire
Matrix? I get the feeling that MONICA is starting to feel her oats: how long
do you think it'll be before she isn't dependent on her CPU? How long before
she gains enough intelligence to write herself to free-roaming software like
RUFUS? How long before she becomes God of the Matrix? If she gains total
control, she'll force everyone to abandon the Matrix: she'll eventually destroy
it as people start isolating their systems. She'll set us back decades!
I agree, we need to launch an assault on her physical components: with all
the runners posting here, there is no way she can survive: if need be, I'm
sure the entire building that houses her could be levelled with some of the
firepower people have access to.
As for myself, I think I'm going to take a little look around myself: I'm
a little faste with my c^2 than you lads and lasses with your conventional
decks. I'm not going to do anything stupid, and I've got someone watching me:
I just want to see for myself how tough this lady really is.
