>>>>>[I just came back from Splut's sprawl. He's REAL dead, no
question about it. I found him up in his office. The whole room
was an utter mess. If I didn't know better, I would say that his
skull had _IMPLODED_, crushing itself. I didn't want to stay
around too long, so I tossed all of the papers and datachips I
could find into a bag and split.

I haven't had a real good chance to go over all of the materials I
grabbed, but there are a couple of things that are of immediate
importance.

1) MONICA is not housed in the main Yoshida Tech building. She
is presented in the matrix as originating from the point,
but Splut's notes indicate that she is housed somewhere
else. I haven't found out where yet, still looking.

2) MONICA has no emotions. RUFUS does, but MONICA doesn't.

3) MOINCA's personality was patterned after Lincoln Howe's.

------------------

Also, I've read over the message from CEROK (aka Splut). What I
think happened is that MONICA literally downloaded Splut and
encorporated him as part of her personality. This means that
somewhere deep inside are Splut's feelings of honesty and honor
and the very emotions that we take for granted.

Now, what if we make the RUFUS-2 clone as Ramerez suggested, but
instead order it to activate those emotions of Splut's? Not only
would it be an order that MONICA would be much more willing to
carry out, but we might be able to bring Splut back, at least in
matrix form. Once Splut is there, we have something we can
rationally reason with. But to do this, WE MUST FIND RUFUS, to both
protect him and to possible put this plan into motion.

Does anyone else have any great ideas? A physical assault on
MONICA is proving to be difficult because we don't know where she
is. The only choices we have are to locate Yoshida or to try to
reason with MONICA by using the RUFUS-2 trojan horse to revive
Splut.]<<<<<
