They've got me in a cell aboard the Intrepid. I've hacked through the wall
with my spurs and found a cable to the ship's intercom system. With a little
imaginitive wiring, I've managed to get in touch with the world. From all the
gunfire I guess someone tried to get me out. Anyway, I've lifted some
recordings from the intercoms, here they are:
>> You've heard that MONICA has killed Lincoln I assume.
>> That is correct, I told you he was a fool.
>> What about MONICA, I'm shure that you did not plan for Howe's side
project to become this much of a threat.
>> RUFUS can take care of himself, trust me I know! Are you shure that the
dwarf will not escape again? He leaked too much information that time.
I trust that your common sense is greater than your greed Dragon! That
was Howe's failure, see what became of him!
>> Yes, he was killed by MONICA, the child of his greed! You should be
careful, you could very well end up the same way!
>> My children will come to realize they share my goals in this, in time.
When they do, the plan will come to fruition. If they do not, and if
they fail to prove thier worth by survivng this storm they are no use
to me and the experiment will have to be repeated.
>> The experiment was costly enough in the first place. I doubt that these
criminals will give us a second chance. They have all the pawns now,
and Dark Elf has many allies. They will make things difficult.
>> Pay them no heed! They are beneath contempt. There are players in this
game that even you don't know about Dragon! Mine are strategies within
strategies, even when you split from the project by trying to take the
Alpha lab for yourself you were setting them into motion.
>> Does your game include these random factors? Have you planned for
MONICA or Dark Elf and his band of criminals! He has allies everywhere
now thanks to MONICA! He is one of the leaders of the resistance
against her along with Ramierez, Nightstalker, Dr. Doom, Wolf349, and
formerly Splut. They've coordinated with forces in the real world.
Haven't you seen the reports of the Shadowrunners gathering at several
key sites in Seattle! They have a small army which could easily
destroy our west coast interests without knowing it!
>> HAHAHA I find your concern humorous! The deckers and MONICA will
destroy each other in the matrix!!! Even if one side gains a decisive
victory they will leave themselves helpless! Those in the real world
will find nothing! Check the shipments I've sent in the past weeks,
you'll find them interesting!
>> You are a devioud man Quention, I respect you for that. I suggest we
move with caution. These random factors are quite unnerving.
AH! I see we'll be having guests soon! Major Domo, summon the security
cheif and the Thamaturge!
>> You have nothing to fear from these would-be heroes, our benefactor has
ensured that!
>> Ah, I see, that is why that prying mage was repelled after breaching
the circle! Let us prepare!
That's when the gunshots started. From the little news I've seen I know
that DE, Napalm, and Harada are in Seattle, so I hope OddBall doesn't get
himself killed trying to bust me out! ]<<<<<
