I'll have to disagree with your assesment of the programs' usefulness
outside of the MONICA situation: I don't think the programs interest him that
much: it's the self-altering codes that are a real find. Imagine going up
against ice that becomes resistant to your attack programs, or (shudder) your
slease and deceptions. If this tech gets out, we're all going to have to
stay on our toes. Of course, since most people now have altering attack &
sleazes, I guess the balance of power will stay more or less the same.]<<<<

MONICA bottled up before some of us pass out from sheer exhaustion. I know I
personally have been abusing stim patches at a dangerous rate: I figure I'l
keel over for a day or two after this is over, but then I'll make good on
that offer of Scotch for everone, and a night on the town for you (if you're
interested, that is (wink)). We'll all deserve it.
I think someone should check out Upload, maybe read him astrally, or
whatever you mages do. We want to make sure MONICA is completely eradicated.
