I believe all of the occupants of the shadows are quite grateful to
this show of generosity regarding the memorial services and the following
celebration; however, mein Herr, I believe there are a few matters which I
must give voice to:
1) Time & Location should be extremely secure and preferably secret.
Understand that there are several 'in the business' (to use popular phrasing)
who have rivals that may attempt some wrongdoing if they are certain of their
target's location, i.e. your two scheduled events. I say this not necessarily
for my own benefit, but for all of ours.
2) As you mentioned earlier, many of the residents of the shadows have
reason to mistrust the MegaCorporations, and I am no exception. However, mein
Herr, you have quite a reputation for being an honorable man and holding to
your word. Thus, mein Herr, I must ask that you give your word that there
shall be no surveillance taken of any of the participants in the festivities or
any measures taken that could conceivably cause repercussions later. As an
Eagle Shaman, your word, as I understand it, is your bond...is that not so?
Thus, mein Herr, I shall be delighted to attend; however, I must
require that you give your word. Forgive me, sir, for my apparent paranoia
and understand that I have no reason for nor possess any malice against you,
but I have been "burned", so to speak, by corporations far too often to let my
guard down now.
I believe my concerns are straight forward, and please respond to them
in the usual manner, i.e. publicly. I apologize for the brevity of this post,
but I have been out of sorts lately, and I hope you understand.

There you have it... Well, I dunno about Doom, but I sure as Hell am gonna be
there... Oh, in a little note Doom attached to the mail file, he said he had
made some progress in the decoration thingy--not sure what that means.
