Turns out she was dying. Plain and simple. Her data jack is composed of
some strange bio substance, so it really did look like her aura was
slipping into the computer. Even Kipling couldn't figure it out. Looks
like Precision did a lot of work. At any rate, Nightstalker was able to
find the kid and lead her back into her own head. (thanks, friend.) Then
a great big troll (That for all the world looks like a Viking) showed up
and said he was taking her to the hospital. Who's argueing with a troll?
She's still pretty disoriented, but the sight of... Norm was it? Seems to
have helped a good deal. She might even make it to the party (if she
sneaks out. I'm not letting her out of bed!)]<<<<<
