***** My friends, I am appaled at the destruction of human life that MONICA.
Not only are there memorials for the deckers who were against monica, but
there is also a place for the red hats that monica betrayed and a part for
those who died on physical runs. It is truly touching to the heart what Joseph
has done. I finally was able to met the man. He is a very honorable and good
person, something that is hard to find today corporation or no. I asked him
how he plans on keeping up his security in the matrix with so many deckers
gone. I was surprised to find that Circuit Breaker and Spirit had already
volunteered their services until Joseph could trust worty and skilled
replacements for his deckers. CRUSH was near tears at the reception on
seeing so many good people recently deceased. He was so depressed that
he didn't think to eat from the wonderful buffet that Joseph. The deaths do
effect me also, but my elven heritage has taught me that to much sadness
over someones death is not right, in fact it is selfish. Why, you might ask,
it is because they have gone on a wondeful journey and most of the sadness that
we have at their leaving is because they will not be there for us. Therefore
we should be both happy and sad; sad because of the lose of life and friends
but happy becuase of the wonderful new adventure they have started. This
is the elven way becuase most deaths come either from sickness or violence.
Do not weep to long dear friends, is what they would tell you, for you have your
memories of us that you will never forget.*****
