Subject: Some info on the Intrepid

>>>>>[Hi everyone. Before I left for the services at Yoshida Tech,
I started a data search to try to get a grip on what the Intrepid
is up to. I got home to some pretty interesting results.

The Intrepid is a WWII vintage aircraft carrier mothballed last
century. In 2006 it was sold and towed via tug to Maine where it
emerged three years later fully redesigned. It's oil boilers were
replaced with two fission reactors, the flightdeck was almost
doubled in area, and the electronics were totally revamped. It
was then sold to the UN and remained in their service for about
twenty years. In 2028, it was purchased in cash by Dragon's Den,
although the nuclear fuel was removed and a pair of low-speed oil
boilers were reinstalled. Since then it has remained in New York
serving as a base for Tirandor. We know that the dragon has
almost gutted the insides and redesigned the ship. But, without
fuel, it couldn't really go anywhere.

Now, according to my records, six years ago 45kg of fuel-grade
uranium "disappeared" from a reactor in Tennessee. That's the most
major "disappearance" in recent years and was the most proximate to
the Intrepid.

Now, as for where the Intrepid is going. According to this,
MagnaTech owned a small island in the carribean. Just after
Yoshida Tech took over Magna, this island was spun off into a
seperate company called Omega Avionics. Omega is a space-tech
firm which specializes in placing satellites into earth orbit.
As a division of MagnaTech, they averaged around 50 to 60 launches
a year. Yoshida apparently spun them off as this division was
barely breaking even.

Now, just after the spin off, Omega went public with one million
shares of stock. Most of these shares were immediately snatched
up by, you guessed it, Dragon's Den. Not long after, the Intrepid
set sail southwards.

Now, just last week, Omega applied to the UN for national status,
meaning that they would become their own country. They paid the
proper fees and all the paper work is in order, so it will
probably be approved withint the next few weeks. This status will
give Omega 15 mile territorial waters, airspace, and the right to
form an army. This is not very different than what the
super-corporations do here in Seattle.

I'm not sure where this is leading, but somehow I don't like
it.]<<<<<
