Outside of the regularly fequented commercial and industrial discticts
and more affluent residential areas, conditions grow increasingly adverse to
survival. The L.A. sprawl is inhospitable to a degree that substantially
exceeds that of Seattle. Intra-city gang conflicts are escalated to a degree
almost unmatched on the continent. And perhaps you have heard mention of the
Bloodrunners, a gang composed mostly of vampirically-infected individuals?
Exceedingly dangerous, by all accounts.
I relate these fact to you in the interest that you not encounter the
