>>>> New York, New York. boy what a time this just gets better and better.
After meeting the man himself ( oh he is cool I could have melted when he look
ed at me with those absolutly crazy eyes. It makes your heart flutter girls it
really does.
Next he says 'come on you wanted me to show you the town remember'. So it was
off down to one of oddballs vans (real smooth).
Any way you have seen the story of what happend. But you had to be their to
have been there to have believed the bootleg oddball pulled it was like
flipping a coin on a knife blade. Not that I could see much after I was
smoothered by mitch to prevent me from getting hit. ( He really overacts
sometimes ) Any way we were in no real danger with a team like dark elfs laying
down fire. Though their was a slight bit of concern when that LAW was pointed
at us. ( Not like uptown seattle). Where do these people get this stuff I mean
come on its not like I can find one in the candy store is it. To me this is
worrying and I think D.E. was rarther put out by it.

Anyway once the mess had been cleaned up and oddball had finished checking the
van and moaning about the amount of scratchs be had picked up we headed of to
this supposedly hip nightclub.
This place was something to be seen and the evening was to say the least, mega-
fun. This place dedd looks like nothing I'v seen you step inside and your are
hit by the reality change. For one it was like stepping into a gothic horror.
There were skulls that housed lights that pulsed and sent a miryid of
tecnicolour gloom out across the whole of the club. Then their were the
gargolyes and manikins that hung down from the ceiling of were attached to the
walls real warped stuff in some places personally crossing the modern art pure
sick bondry (but hey I an't a critic) anyway the gang seem to know what they
wanted and headed towards a small booth.
The music came through wave after wave pulsing and turning and making you
shiver it was weird. Poor old mitch didn't know were to look I think this place
was a bit to much for his more classical sense. He was toataly off guard when
a particualy scanty clad young lady rubbed up against him and whispered
something to him. He was rescued by Jake which seemed to break the ice
between these two as we all laughed at this from our booth.
The evening seemed to flow by first of all we talked for a bit Napalm trying to
explain the varient spell he had thrown that evening but I don't think many
were to bothered as long it worked. Poor oddball kept muttering about how much
a new lamp unit would cost and about plate changes I felt quite sorry that I
insisted about going out.
Dark Elf was quite for the most asking me what I thought of the club and
generaly pumping me for information about myself.(What is it about deckers that
want makes them want to know every little thing about everybody its quite
worrying if I am going to start doing it.)
The music was turned up as the evening went by so at times conversation becaame
impossible. So I just sat and observed for a while before I got up to dance.
This place was so unreal the strobes flashed and flashed until the manikins
seemed to move in a crazy dance. I really felt faint a couple of times. Mitch
said he hadn't noticed ( then I had to remind him about his cyber eyes, great
mind, mitch great mind).
There was a slight skuffle over by the entrence as someone who was not welcome
obviously wanted in. I thought there was going to be more trouble as a couple
of young razor lads busted in taking a slice outer the doorman. But they didn't
even make it down four of the steps before they were intercepted by these
couple of guys who came out of the shadows. They must either have been cybered
or phys adepts for the whole thing was over in about three moves. I saw one of
them connect with a razor guys head and to put it nicely, from the angle the
neck snapped back I don't think these guys would be hassleing anyone again.
Dark Elf had no comment to make about the action and said that I should expect
things like this in a popular place like this. Yea well I thought right. Anyway
I was begining to find the place getting slightly claustrophobic more and more
people were arriving and the place wasn't getting any bigger. I must say i do
not like these new sounds they are to weird thats the only way to describe them
The whole set began to feel like a bad trip with the lights the chains and the
skulls.
Anyway dark elf saw that I was tired and suggested we cut the evening short.
Mitch didn't care although I did notice that a fair few glasses were staking up
between him and Jake. They seemed to be enjoying there little talk about how
big a caliber round you need to go through a armoured windshield ( I think
they were winding oddball up a bit for he was not impressed with this
conversation). Naplalm had drifted of to talk with a few people or should I say
everyone. He certinly knows people around here to say the least.

The journey home was not as adventurous as that as journey out.( Not that I
minded). Mitch was moaning slightly to Jake about not getting a round off.
( I mean what is it with this guys and this matcho gun crap hey something I
will never understand).
When we got back to the pad we had a drink sat down and had a little talk about
what we would do tomorrow.( so much for being tired )
Napalm wanted to have a look at my magic capabilities and go over my couple of
fetishes ( no that there's much I could never hack it as a mage )
The thing i am really looking for is when dark elf either goes over my deck or
takes me for a ride across new yorks grid. ( I wonder if I could borrow a
hitcher for mitch he would enjoy the fun. Oh well time to sleep...Night Night
Dark eyes if your listening....]<<<<<
