>>>>>[ Nightstalker here, we've had a pretty interesting evening tonight.
I
took Raven, Cerise, Eclipse, Phantom, and Blindside on a little hit and run on
Wolf's Merenary Army's Seattle headquarters. We found some pretty useful
stuff. Here is a run report.

Blindsides really nice to have on a run, He covered me and Eclipse with
improved invisibility. Cerise did the same for herself and the three of us went
in. The plan was simple. Eclipse would open doors. I would deck the system.
Cerise would cover us. If it blew up in our faces Phantom, Raven and Blindside
would pull us out.
The headquarters was a three story building with a basement. Naturally the
computer was in the basement and the fraggers had all useful info off matrix.
This is the first time I've every seen someone keep stuff like that offline
because to qoute a source, "They can't afford to hire a good decker to defend
their system." The invisiblity spells would keep the cameras from spotting us
and there was only about twelve phycial guards.
The door security was good but Eclipse keep on chuckling, "I've seen better
defenses at Disenyland." It took us all of five minutes to get to the computer
room while dodging the patrols.
I slid into the and started downloading useful files. Nice things like where
they buy supplies, who was assigned to the Kurgan job, the location of their
Training base in Cascade Crow territory. I was looking for something really
useful when Eclipse started shaking me hard.
"What?"
"I think they know were here? Raven said she's seen them boxing us in."
"Damn! Give me another minute."
I went back to shifting data, at a frantic pace. I had just download a file
when the shutdown single began. Damnit, I need another minute. Look faster,
faster. Yes! Paydirt. Download, Download, and Out.
Just as I jacked out the door exploded into a million pieces. Eclipse slammed
me to the ground and splinters fell all around us. Cerise shreiked and her
spell dropped.
"Extract Now!" I screamed into my comlink. Eclipse stood up and swung his
sawed off shotgun towards the door. A mercenary appeared in it with an AK-97 in
hand. Eclipse's T-250 blasted twice and the man slammed into the wall behide
him. As second appeared spraying ammo across the room. Eclipse took a slug and
fell back. Then the merc screamed as Cerise's spell fried his mind.
My smartgun was finally hooked up, I really should just buy a smartgun link.
We all scrambled for cover, and not a moment too soon. Three grenades bounced
through the doorway and exploded. One was frag, one flash, and the last
concussion. These boys played tough.
A merc flew across the doorway tossing yet another grenade into the room.
This one bounced off Cerise's Earth elemental and exploded harmlessly.
Apparently the merc's realized they had some major opposition in the room
because they stopped attacking. The quite lasted almost 30 seconds and then we
heard gunfire in the hallway. It was quickly followed by shouts of pain.
Eclipse and I looked at each other and realized that we were visible. We looked
at the door where Blindside appeared.
"Coyote sayes you Americans need a way out," he said and winked back out of
existence. Silly shaman.
Eclipse lead the way followed by me and then Cerise. At the end of the hall
we saw five mercenaries on the ground with no appearent wounds.
Rounding the corner we found Raven, Phantom and two bullet riddled mercs. As
we all headed for the door Phantom remarked that they refused to go to Sleep.
We passed a few more on the way to the cars and got as far away as we could as
fast as we could. ]<<<<<
